Called in for a bite to eat on a day trip. Staff very pleasant and polite. I had steak pie and chips and my wife had mince with dumplings and veg. Both delicious and well worth the money. Drinks were reasonable price too.

We booked a table for seven teens as it was a birthday party and they all were happy with the service and food.We, adults, had our meal away from the teens and impressed with our service from the staff from beginning to end.Thank you so much to the proprietors/staff for taking care of us all from the meant we entered the pub till we left.Mr and Mrs R Harris

A bit of a wait for food at Sunday peak time...was told 20 min wait , but turned out to be 40 mins... When food came it was hot, and home cooked . Very nice. Would go again

Food would of been lovely if the baguette wasn’t hard, they were just too overcooked to point were they were just snapping. Staff were lovely but they had children helping out and she had clearly been crying which I found rather uncomfortable, I don’t like to see anyone upset.
