Went for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon..very tasty and awesome beer! Didn't realise I left my credit card on the chair..the manager took the time to call my bank and pass my details for them to hold the account. Great service.

Frosty reception. My group of 8 friends were made to feel like an inconvenience to an otherwise empty establishment on a Saturday afternoon. Food was terrible, my steak and ale pie had NO MEAT in it. For some reason they'd discussed potato as meat? I pointed this out and nobody bothered to get back to me. We had to leave hastily as the AA man arrived to repair my flat tyre, this is the only reason we are here as it was close to the tyre shop.

Fantastic staff, food and atmosphere. We've just been for lunch and my friend needs easy access due to a disability. The manager kindly opened a little early so we could sit down and the took really good care of us. Would highly recommend. Dog friendly too as we all had dogs..they were also catered for with water and doggy treats 😊

Amazing food, great Sunday dinner, well made drinks, dog friendly knowledge le staff and a good space.Minimal outdoor seating but more than enough space to nip out for a breath of fresh air!

·

Great range of beers that changes regularly, food is reasonable. The place can get very busy at times. Apart from the ground floor bar there is a dining room on the first floor, however food can be ordered and eaten in the bar too.

Good beer menu, good atmosphere, probably the best pub in Northallerton.

Lovely staff. Great atmosphere as always. Distinct lack of Ghost brewery beers on tap or coming soon. Hope this changes soon.

Just a lovely pub with great food and CAMRA Ales. Gins of the world. Nice atmosphere. Dogs catered for. Friendly staff. Games of all sorts. Sometimes have music on. Fab themed nites with tasty foods i.e. American wkend lush food with guest ales to go with it ... lush! Clean loos. ❤

Arrived on a Friday lunchtime place was like an empty bar.. Oh yes it was just that. Enquired about food.. "Sorry no food today but we have a few nuts knocking about behind the bar" .. Only good thing was it was dog friendly if you didn't mind being completely alone in a mausoleum..
