Wagon & Horses in Hambleton

We visited family & decided to eat out. I ordered the Rib Eye. Medium rare for me, cooked perfectly. On our table was stuffed pepper, rack of lamb & a chicken & mash dish.Lovely atmosphere & lovely friendly staff. I'd highly recommend a visit.

Great food, great service and we will be returning when we are next in the area! Plenty of choice on the menu, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Thankyou to the team for making our experience so good tonight!

Utterly gorgeous food, just like Nan used to make. We had the two pies just to see us thru the walk home and ended up catching the bus home with two dogs!Lovely fresh beers (I had Bishops Farewell) and a selection of flavoured gin plus good old fashioned Guinness without the "Extra Cooling" that they seem to think everyone wants.Thoroughly enjoyable visit, pull in and you won't be disappointed.🍻

Struggling to dine here. We have been twice in mid week and have been turned away twice, this time due to staff shortage. Another (drinking) customer recommended the Goat at Frognall and we had an excellent meal.

Just had yet another meal in this village pub. My 3 children have just treated me to a birthday dinner. Myself my partner all agreed the whole night was amazing. Food of high quality. Portion size just perfect and timing great. Incredible place as always. Thankyou for making my evening perfect.

First visit to this lovely place as we are not local, brilliant meal,as I'm gluten free,not a problem at all which was such a relief,also I was with two vegetarians who were well catered for,our meals were all very good,the young lady serving was very patient and helpful with our needs,it all was very enjoyable,thank you,it's just a shame we live in Oxford,a bit too far to be our local.

Richard who runs the Waggon and Horses and his team did the food for our wedding. The menu he prepared was excellent, and met all tastes and the food and table presentation were superb.This is our favourite place to eat, the food is great, provides value for money, and the atmosphere and staff are very welcoming

Staff lovely. Warm welcome on arrival. Beautiful decor and wonderful choice on menu. Food well presented and full of flavour. Will definitely be back.

Had a absolute fantastic meal here. T.. My mum was taken in and the landlady was absolutely amazing stayed with us the whole time till ambulance arrived ( I think her name was Caroline) mum very well thank you. The choice of food was brilliant. Would highly recommend it and we will definitely go back xx
