Great pub with good food drink and excellent service. Decent car park. Shame there’s not a proper beer garden (it’s part of car park) but not much else they could do I guess.

Loved this pub. Our family took my mother to celebrate her 89th birthday for a lush Sunday lunch. It was special to her as she had been evacuated there during the war. She had lived in the pub for seven weeks. The staff listened to her story and allowed her to look around. All of the staff were efficient and friendly. The food was excellent.

Not very good sitting in car park, but there is nowhere else outdoor seating can be provided. Food looked lovely. Staff very helpful.

Popped in for lunch during the week it was quite busy but we managed to get seated. Staff lovely and food was good quality. I would go back 😊

A really lovely place to stay. Food excellent particularly breakfast. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Beautiful location with excellent walks near by. Would love to go again.

Hospitality was warm and friendly, room was very comfortable and the breakfast was super. Also a wonderful location for waking in the Arnside area. Highly recommend.

Allways driven by this place but never gone in, so when we finally visited I was genuinley suprised at how good it was. Excellent beers, lovley food, attentive services and beautiful interior. I will be going back.

Would definitely go again. I had a hot steak baguette & sticky toffee pudding both was 10/10, the service was stop on & all the staff very friendly. Highly recommended

This a was a great venue for a family lunch after a nice winter walk. Staff were really welcoming and accommodating. The layout is cosy but also feels private and they also welcome dogs (and muddy boots). The foods was delicious, we had the fish and chips, ham egg and chips and falafel burger, all were great and freshly made. Would definitely recommend
