My two children enjoy coming to play here. The staff are always friendly and the place is clean. A cheap few hours of entertainment, especially with one of the monthly passes.

Really nice place. Up from Nottingham for work and stopped in for some lunch and a drink. Nice friendly staff, super chill atmosphere and food cooked perfectly. Worth a visit!

From the moment we walked through the door, we experienced nothing but friendly professionalism from all of the team, including Andy the manager. The food we ate, and the drinks we drank were nothing short of perfect, and there really is nothing to complain about. I’m sure we will be back

The staff were amazing the food is absolutely exquisite, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The prices make it cheaper to eat here every day than to eat at home. There is impeccable service from all bar staff including the manager. Would highly recommend.

Quite a pleasant place, I don't know why we don't go more frequently. I took my team from work out for lunch to celebrate Twosday (22/2/22), a date which is a palindrome and an ambigram (if you write 22022022 in the right font). Such things turn me on so it was worth marking the occasion.Standard pub fare but their steak and ale pie is definitely worth a try - a proper pie, wholly encased in shortcrust pastry with a rich filling. It was fairly quiet when we went: half term presumably occupied the masses with other ventures but we enjoyed it. I did have to clean my seat before sitting down. A previous occupant had dropped food on it and there remained a very obvious pea which I didn't want to sit on. I didn't let it detract from the occasion, however. If the bill had come to £22.22 that would have been a fitting end. Alas, it was rather more than that but still reasonably priced.

Popped in a few days ago, not expecting much in all honesty, but wow, how wrong were we. Great staff, amazingly tasty and well cooked food and all served in good time. You need to give this a try folks, I had preconceptions from years ago about this place, and my latest experience has proved me totally wrong. We’ll be back. PS. we had the gammon skillet and one of the signature burgers, both excellent.

Good service, reasonable prices. Food is pretty big!! We had the chick n mix, it comes in a tray and is as big as the table!! Plenty is seating and a huge car park. We'll definitely be back

Spacious and tastefully restored pub. Ample off street car parking. Good range of draught and keg beers. Large range of flavoured and speciality gins. Excellent food menu and tasty meals.Pub is reputedly haunted.Complimentary WiFi.Have been advised that the pub is rebranding to 'Flaming Grill'. Glad to hear they are surviving in these most difficult times.

This is a Whacky Warehouse pub so you kind of know what you're getting: The food isn't cordon bleu but that said the food was huge and tasty. Beer was good and well kept with a decent selection. The kids play area is massive and kept my little one entertained for hours. The landlord was friendly and I'll definitely be back.

It was amazing food and very well presented. The only thing is the place wasn't very well cleaned and tidy. There were very old vegetables and fries under our table and seemingly every other table. It also hadn't been wiped down between customers because there was remnants of salt on the table too. Staff didn't seem very eager to attend even though it was very quiet. We actually had to walk towards the bar to get some attention and fresh drinks. The food however, is amazing and everything was well presented with perfect flavours and extremely fair prices.
