Outstanding food. Each plate was faultless. The tasting menu is fantastic value, you get plenty and get to try things you may not usually order. Without hesitation we will return here, cannot recommend enough.

This is one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve had in a while and if you’re a fan of Asian cuisine then it’s a must visit. The atmosphere is brilliant and the decor really cosy. Staff greeted very professionally when we arrived and it was nice for the table to be large and laid out well. The menu has a great range of items with good descriptions for each dish. The food arrived in good time, was presented well, but best of all were the flavours - everything we tried was super delicious and was cooked perfectly. Eyes were certainly bigger than bellies here, and there was no need to order as many sides as we did given the size of the portions, particularly the rice bowls! Drinks menu is equally as extensive and the prices not unreasonable given the setting.Overall this is a real favourite of mine in the town and I cannot wait to return!

Totally wonderful dining experience. Lovely atmosphere, great service, but wow for the food - absolutely beautiful. Amasing selection of wonderfully cooked & flavoured dishes. Something to suit anyone's tastes.💯 - beware the rice & noodle dishes long way!

Best chicken satay ever. Best masaman curry sauce ever. The lamb was dry but otherwise great dish. Loved it.

Our evening meal was superb with a broad range of very tasty & exciting oriental/asian food. We both had a fantastic meal and the wine was also superb. It would have been 5 stars but we had breakfast there and that wasn't so good. Stone cold food (I did ask to have it microwaved which helped) and not enough food out on the buffet (had to ask for more sausage, bacon & eggs) as no one was looking after it. Very poor value for £12 per person...

Delicious food, attentive staff, lovely relaxed ambience. I always come to the Orchid for special occasions and treat days. The food reminds me of my time travelling around South East Asia as it is incredible quality and authentic, has all the classics plus always something new and exciting. You won't be dissappinted with whatever you try. (Also the Reisling was divine!!)

Beautiful. This place is amazing, the menu is fantastic and the food really doesn’t disappoint. Lovely friendly staff who were very attentive. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend dining here! We’ll be back as soon as we can be.

A beautiful delight to see authentic and original menu. I went for the alacarte instead of the set menu.The flavours and dishes were a mix of authentic and creative.10/10 for weeping tiger steak and the mango pans cota. Great service too !!

Just a word sums up this place, wow.,!!!!! Great tasty food and aside variety of dishes available so the taste buds will be watering. Pleasent surrounding to have your meal. The staff are very helpful and polite
