Bacchus Wine Bar in Harrogate

Great place run by people who love there job. Been for a couple of wine tasting, can't recommend it more highly.

Amazing place.They hosted my husbands 30th birthday party and it was just brilliant.Thank you Jesper for organising .The only place in Harrogate I go for cocktails 👏

We had a lovely time here. We were looking for something a bit more authentic and less touristy. The drinks were excellent and the staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

What a lovely find, and so close to the train station- great ambiance, great selection of wines 🍷 & 🍸 to suit all pockets, and extremely drinkable in lovely wine glasses. The Cheese and Charcuterie boards tasty & well presented, and even have Gluten Free bread & crackers 🙌🙌. The staff are very friendly & welcoming, certainly know their wines, and very helpful with selecting- we would definitely recommend & will be back on our next trip to a Harrogate 👍👍

Thomas made the best cocktails I've had in a long time. Fantastic selection, great value for money and such friendly service. Would highly recommend. Do yourself a favour, visit and sample as much of the drinks menu as you can! Such a short walk from the bus station its worth a visit for sure!

Bacchus is a truly brilliant gem right in the heart Harrogate. We've been coming to this wine bar for years, and it honestly just keeps getting better. The staff are always really friendly, the selection of different wines is top notch, and their charcuterie is brilliant. They frequently host wine pairing evenings and they are always exceptional. Jasper hosted the last few I've attended and he does a phenomenal job describing the wines, expertly pairing them, and just making the whole night eventful and memorable. Highly recommend visiting this wine bar!

What a truly fantastic bar! We were in on a Friday evening and it had everything you could ask for - great atmosphere, comfortable, a lovely bottle of wine and some brilliant whiskies. The best part of the evening was Jesper, he was the ideal host and I can’t speak highly enough of him!

My son and I had a lovely evening at Bacchus last weekend. The staff can't do enough to welcome you and they offer an amazing selection of unique and delicious drinks. We ordered a small cheeseboard and they selected the perfect cheeses to pair with what each of us was drinking - a very thoughtful touch. We will definitely be returning soon!

Visited on a Saturday evening and it was a fantastic venue. A lovely, proper wine bar with a great vibe. The selection of wine is great, Jesper is incredibly helpful with his expertise and the quality of the wine itself was awesome. A real gem and will definitely be returning!

My husband and I went here for a last minute date night and we were not disappointed. We were made to feel very welcome, enjoyed a lovely tasting flight selected by the wine manager and enjoyed an excellent meat and cheese board. The experience was wonderful and we will be back soon! Highly recommend.
