This well worth a visit if in the area. The food was lovely with ample seating inside and out. I had chicken and mushroom pie which was an individual pie with chips, peas and a separate jug of gravy, all piping hot, tasty and satisfying. All washed down with a few halves of Black Sheep ☺️.Staff were lovely and friendly and the toilets were very clean, nicely decorated and roomy.I could have stayed and tried the other Black Sheep beers that were available (husband was driving) but sadly we didn't have time.

Excellent drinks and food. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and service. Plenty of tables and worth booking if you're eating. Excellent selection of beers and craft ales. Really pleased they have gluten free options available for drinks and food. Gluten free drinks are their cider on draught or Wold Top Against the Grain and Daura. Overall an excellent experience. They also offer tours and have a shop on site. Highly recommended.

We stumbled across this by accident and never having tried black sheep we went in to see what it was like. The bar area was lively, but not too loud and had a great atmosphere.Unfortunately the restaurant was full but we were told we could sit in the bar area and order food. We ordered and it turned it very quickly. It tasted great, particularly the onion rings! The bar staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and helped us decide which ale to try first since we weren't familiar with it. I'll definitely be having it again as it was very nice.Unfortunately the shop was closed as it was after 4pm but the bar staff said we could browse and if we wanted anything we could pay for it at the bar, which was a nice touch.

Where do I start with this review? What a welcoming bunch of people who run this place! From the charming and engaging tour guide Bronwyn (a near 80 year old veteran of 25 years), to the friendly and helpful lads behind the bar at the end. They really made the experience for us, without them it would have still been an interesting tour, learning about the history of the place and the brewing process etc, but it's clear they love being a part of a real local treasure. Would highly recommend for anyone who likes beer as you get to sample any variety you want at the end and knowing the care they've put in to it just makes you enjoy it more!Being a 'demand only' brewery (they don't stockpile to avoid adding preservatives) they've also been hammered by the forced closure of pubs over the last 2 years, so they really need the support of visitors and new customers.Great value, highly recommend!

Nice ambiance and good food. Impressive that they managed with 3 out of 4 chefs off on the day we visited! Very dog friendly

WOW! What a wonderful experience. Alan, our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and this showed in his presentation and tour. The 3 x 1/3 pint vouchers at the end we put to great use and tasted a lot. All the other staff were very helpful and clearly very happy at work!!We didn't eat but the food at the Brewery coming to other tables look very nice and will eat there next time.Great value for money and will return with the kids.....(so I can drink their vouchers too!!)

Very popular attraction with shop, bar & restaurant. A favourite place of ours to visit. A suggestion.... It would be nice to have more veggie choices on the menu.

Excellent beer, great feel to the place and decent food (better than expected) for a brewery. The staff were very welcoming too, and if you are a fan of the beautiful game, they show the televised matches on a large pull-down screen in the bar and on a large TV in the upstairs mezzanine level. Finally, there's a dining area which looked very nice (we ate in the bar and upstairs) so would definitely be worth a visit if you're in your party frock, or if you would rather avoid the football...

Staff where so welcoming, let us sit at table early and welcomed us and our dog. Service was quick and food was delicious. Also managed to go to one of the brewery tours as not been running for a year or more due to covid, but was great to be back and very informative and interesting guide. Thanks again, if your reading this and ever this way come and visit as is highly recommend and such good value. Booking advisable.
