This is such a fabulous place to stay especially if you happen to have a dog! They are so well catered for and made to feel very welcome even if they do behave a little badly at times! The hotel has a really cosy atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have everything you could want including a dog bed feed and water bowl and of course a few treats. We had a wonderful couple of nights here and would love to come back again.

We called in due to heavy traffic locally after a very long drive. The service was excellent right from the greeting. We only fancied a light bite and the host (I think Ann?) was incredibly accommodating for a request of cheesy chips and gravy chips! It was unexpected as it's a very nice venue so we thought we would be frowned upon! Also the gravy was obviously home made and indictive of the quality of food they serve. We will definitely be back in better circumstances and hope Ann? and the rest of the friendly team will offer us the same welcome. Thank you all.
