Farrah's Olde Sweet Shop in Harrogate

I went it and selected 8 chocolates from the counter, they looked lovely and cost £6 so I was expecting high quality. Sadly 6 went in the bin as they were very poor quality, flavours and textures very disappointing. I am a very longstanding chocaholic and will eat virtually any chocolate so to bin it says a lot. Sadly don’t recommend at all.

Wonderful old-fashioned sweet shop! Worthy of stopping by for a treat whilst touring Harrogate. Their toffee tins alone are nice to have as a memento of having been to Harrogate.

Lots of interesting things here including tea, coffee, chocolate, biscuits and gift ideas. The staff who we spoke to were very pleasant and helpful.

Amazing sweet shop, hundreds of different sweets, chocolates, fudges, truffles. Good selection of gifts and humorous signs, the shop may look tiny from the front but just keeps on going.....

Lovely little sweet shop. Lots to choose from with lots of retro sweets. Lots of flavours of jelly beans too. Lots of little gifts and souvenirs as well. They sell post cards of Harrogate for 40p. Lovely staff very willing to help. Even sell insulated lunch boxes (they are soft and fold up £3.99) Lots to choose from. Definitely worth a visit!

Stepping into Farrah's is like a trip down memory. The range of sweets is straight out of my childhood and there's even sweet 'tobacco'! Unlike the corner sweet shops where there were shelves full of jars, all of the sweets are pre packed in clear plastic bags and quite a bit more expensive than "back in the day", but its fun to search through the shelves for your favourite indulgence. Further into the shop you'll find a large selection of gifts and upstairs you'll find the Palm Court Cafe 😊
