Good location and easy to find on Parliament Street.Great service and food overall. The cheese garlic bread and spaghetti carbonara were really great and authentic. The service was good along with the decor.I was disappointed with the ice cream, it tasted like store bought ones, would've expected better given the price. But overall very good and would go again.

Overall a very good experience. The restaurant was about half full, the staff were attentive and the food was very, very good!I would certainly recommend and definitely will be returning.Only reason why it wasn't 5 stars, was because there is an automatic gratuity added to your bill of 10%, that we werent aware of, until recieved the bill. So our automatic gratuity came to just a few pence short of £20.When the food and service has been good I will always tip, but when it's added on automatically it makes me feel slightly uneasy. Especially if the amount is more than you think is earned or more then you had budgeted for.So just something to be wary of when visiting. But on the whole was a very pleasant experience.

Always a thoroughly enjoyable meal here. My wife and I have visited Piccolinos together and also with our daughter, son-in-law law and our grandchildren. The food is excellent with a lovely varied menu to choose from, and the service is superb. We have always found that the children are particularly well looked after by the friendly staff. We love the roof terrace as well. Even in chilly weather it's still fun but as it warms up its a real treat. It's been noticeable that the atmosphere has been even more relaxed and friendly lately.Very much looking forward to our next visit.Highly recommended

Amazed by the quality of the staff , the establishment and the food. We were welcomed by smiling , helpful and elegant staff that treated us as valued customers. The restaurant is modern , elegant and sophisticated. Incredibly good food , well presented by smiling and welcoming staff that have mastered the ultimate client experience.10/10 for us and we will be returning this evening with visiting family members to share this jewel in the crown of Harrogate restaurants.

Lovely atmosphere and decoration, mostly polite and welcoming staff. Unfortunately the food and service was terrible. Starter (ribs) was measly, cold and fatty, and arrived before our drinks. Lasagna was good, seafood spaghetti was bland and missing clams and had 1 prawn and undercooked calamari (bad for the price). 2 sides were ordered, they never arrived. To be fair, the manager was accommodating and took the starters and sides off the bill and reduced price of spaghetti. Even so, £50 for the poor meal and service we had was too steep. Would not recommend until they improve.

Every year we visit Harrogate and enjoy our Italian experience at Gino's Italian Restaurant ... much to our surprise the restaurant has changed hands and is now called Piccolino . The food is excellent and the service is second to none! Thank you so much Andrea for making my birthday meal extra special. The history you gave us of why Italian fine dining really is the key to the hearts of you Italian Chefs, your friendliness, and your attentiveness ... A definite ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ can't wait to visit your restaurant again! Best Italian ever!!!

Fur coat and no knickers as my nan used to say. Staff were friendly and helpful and eager to put things right. But service felt rushed and shambolic. Food was served in a rush, very slap dash. The place itself is nicely decorated but very large and open so consequently very noisy. The food and drink was overcooked and over priced. Calamari just over but still edible. Rigatoni and ribs very tasty, as was the tiramisu. They made me pay for a 3 course meal, even though I only had 2 courses. Totally inflexible. Tip automatically added to bill, so watch out. I agree in paying tips, but not when it isn't worth it.

Lovely staff and decor, portions were far to small compared to the price. Shame.

Welcoming front of house staff and waiters who really are a credit to the restaurant. 4 stars only given due to the duck main being overcooked and dry but everything else was wonderful and we spent 3 hours enjoying the atmosphere and food.DO NOT forget to leave room for dessert....the Berry ice cream ordered was heavenly!!!!!
