Goldsborough Hall in Harrogate

Visited for the snowdrop walk and coffee and cake in the library. It's was a beautiful sunny day, very friendly staff, what a beautiful house and gardens

My wife and I had a Tasting meal and overnight stay recently. It was excellent, the staff and I mean all the staff were extremely accommodating and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was good.The actual facilities were outstandingly good, our room was very clean and everything in it was what we required. Yes all in all excellent

Stayed recently for a wedding. Bedroom was clean, well stocked with amenities and good facilities. Beautifully kept gardens, my only recommendation would be some lighting in the car park for the winter months as it was rather dark. All in all and very pleasant stay.

Incredible dining experience, great to sample the wedding menu. The food was amazing along with the service. Beautiful room and grounds are impeccable 👌

Amenities and situation of the hall are very good. The garden's are beautifully kept. Our room overlooked the garden at the back, unfortunately we had a leaky shower screen which soaked the bath mat and some of the floor. There was also a rather long cobweb hanging over the twin wash basins.. something that can be easily missed if you don't catch it in the right light. Breakfast was also rather slow the next day... perhaps in this covid time there are staff shortages or maybe it would be a good idea to put some coffee/tea jugs out so we could at least have a drink before waiting for our order to be taken. Otherwise a very pleasant overnight stay and we loved the fires especially in the cost library.

This was my second stay at this fabulous hotel within a few weeks , this time I had my partner with me. Over the last few weeks I have been telling her how beautiful this hotel was and again we were not disappointed , we had the most fabulous stay in the Royal Suite it was everything we expected and more. The taster menu dinner was superb, food cooked to perfection and very attentive staff. Once again I was blown away with the quality of this hotel .

Lovely venue. We were there for a wedding. Staff were lovely and helpful. Food was beautiful. The gardens are gorgeous and very well maintained. Drinks overpriced thou.

lovely house with tranquil rural setting. Very well renovated and historical. Staff excellent and enough of them. I would go again but next time will insist on a la carte because the Covid excuse "tasting menu" did not satisfy. If you go and have a bag ignore the first car park sign because it is a long haul from there to reception.

The hotel was beautiful and staff were excellent. However, the wedding photographer was rude and worst of all locked very small children and people in the church yo take photographs. It caused anxiety issues amongst other things

We celebrated our wedding at Goldsborough Hall last week and 15 of us stayed the evening before and the wedding day and night. Our wedding had been postponed from July last year and although it wasn’t the day we initially planned for it was absolutely perfect. The staff and service at Goldsborough has been excellent. They were absolutely brilliant when our wedding couldn’t go ahead last year due to the pandemic and moved everything over to the new date with minimal fuss. Alison our Wedding planner has been wonderful, friendly, professional and efficient, organising and answering all our questions quickly. 🙏🏻We had the tasting menu the evening before and champagne afternoon tea for our wedding breakfast followed by an informal evening wedding meal with our guests in a private room. The service and food was outstanding and so delicious. Well done to the chefs as all the food has been excellent and so tasty.I would like to give a special mention to Mario who looked after me when I arrived helping with all my bags and Joel who delivered our gifts to the guests rooms before they arrived. I would especially like to say thank you to Melanie who coordinated everything on our wedding day. You are brilliant!Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so wonderfully relaxing and working so hard.We had the most perfect weather, enhanced by the gardens which are magnificent and the views are spectacular!
