Hotel du Vin & Bistro in Harrogate

Held our sons 18th birthday party at the hotel last weekend and very pleased with the whole experience. Charlotte was super efficient in helping with the arrangements and everyone had a great time. Lovely hotel with an upmarket yet relaxed feel right in the centre of Harrogate.

Attended a wine tasting event here with Yorkshire Wine School, both the hotel and wine school were fantastic. Lovely food served by the hotel and beautiful rooms

Stayed in the wairaru River suite, gorgeous room, the twin bath tubs and giant bed really made it! Breakfast was wonderful and the room service was delivered quickly

Nice place had a nice experience! Let down by the bar and their lack of stock, was slightly disappointing. Food is very good would reccomend

The people working at this hotel make the place worth all of the five stars. If you have a request, issue or would like something specific ask! We did and have come away planning our next visit. Awesome bar and bartenders.

A family stay for 30 of us was dealt with in a very professional and friendly manner with no demand too difficult to manage. I've stayed at the hotel before and my only flaw was the draft from the stunning sash window (albeit helped by the heavy curtains) and a few elements of the rooms looking a little tired but nothing to argue over. Overall amazing breakfast, fantastic location, good sized rooms and the staff were great.

We've stayed here several times and every time our stay has been excellent. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, bed super comfortable, l'Occitane products in the bathroom and btw the shower pressure is wonderful, every time we've eaten here the food has been delicious... but what really sets it apart is the staff. Our impression is that the staff genuinely want to make our stay special - and that applies to each member of staff we've interacted with. The restaurant manager went out of her way last night to ensure we enjoyed our meal... we also enjoyed the passion and knowledge of the sommelier - and the receptionist also went out of his way when we had a slight glitch with our room.

Good clean hotel. Fantastic large bedroom and bathroom. Great service.Only area to improve for us would have been the breakfast. Given we asked for no mushrooms and black pudding, an extra sausage would have helped to fill the plate🤔

A one-nighter in the Grange suite. Lovely room at the end of the hotel, so nice and quiet. Lots of space with the separate sitting area. Great feature bath. Dinner in the bistro was fantastic. Both restaurant and bar had good ambiance. All the staff we encountered were friendly and professional.Three things prevent a 5-star review: our room was not available at check-in time; room had two televisions but no remote (this was remedied with a phone call to reception, but still...); £10 to park overnight outside the hotel seemed a bit rich considering what we had paid for the room.

Really enjoyed the tasting menu with accompanying wines. The food and wines were excellent and the service and staff friendly and informative. One bit of constructive criticism - whilst the verbal explanations of the wines were helpful it would’ve been nice to have a list on the table to refer to.
