Il Bivio in Harrogate

Went there for dinner as our original booking elsewhere was cancelled at short notice. As it turned out this was much better, great Italian food served by lovely staff. One of the best Italian restaurants since visiting something similar in Chicago.

We hadn't booked but went on the recommendation from Premier Inn receptionist.We were made very welcome but thought there prices were a little high to start with.As it turns out the meals are huge and very tasty so the whole evening was lovely and good value 😋

We found our food was salty. Mentioned it to one of the servers. Took it away immediately and brought us the fish dish at our request (which was one of the most expensive meals on the menu). Then gave us our money back and didn’t even charge us for the fish dish. We spent the refund on more wine but what a pleasant experience. Decent people are hard to come by but in this place they are all decent. Thank you guys. Will definitely be back

Ive been coming here nearly 20 years now and have never had anything but excellent fresh food and exceptional service. This is easily the best Italian food anywhere in Yorkshire. The ambiance is not unlike walking into a restaurant in Italy, family friendly, relaxed and welcoming.

I ate there every single say during 3 weeks, the food is very good whatever you order, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. 5 big stars!

We only came here as the place we were planning to visit in town was full, but that turned out to be a stoke of luck. The food was amazing and the staff were great. I had the seafood linguini with chilli and garlic and it was the best meal I've had for ages! Everyone else had a pizza and were very happy too. It was also very handy for our hotel. If we ever come back to this Premier Inn we'll definitely have a meal at Al Bivio.

Amazing in the past.. But sadly not now.. Lacking any kind of service, dirty plates sat in front of you for ages. Waitress took order for 3 drinks (from 5 adults) but didn't even make eye contact with others to see what they wanted. Pizzas were delivered with a steak knife which was needed as the bases were rock hard.. Some of the pizzas were inedible as the bases were burnt. Complaint wasn't handled well either and had to argue about what was on the bill.. AVOID

Fast friendly service and the food was exactly what I was hoping for

Never had a bad meal here. Come regularly.

Very grateful for a last minute seating on a Friday night with two young children. They explained that they needed the table back soon but that doesn't excuse the very brusk service. Salads were fresh and great pizza. Would like to come back with s reservation and without kiddos.
