Fantastic restaurant. Beautiful building and decor. Staff were very courteous and helpful. They were attentive but not overbearing. Excellent food, a wide range as well, at very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend and use again if in Harrogate

I booked a table for 8 one week ahead and then increased the numbers to ten with two days to go and confirmed that reservation on the day. It was obvious on arrival that the restaurant pays zero attention to bookings. Initially they tried to cram 10 onto a table for 6. After complaining 3 times and waiting for tables to open up we finally sat down together. The evening was already ruined. The food was less than average with most of it cold especially the rice. One of the waiters persistently touched the women in the party until we complained. The owner may have his Bentley parked outside but this is not anywhere near the awesome standards of many many other fine Indian restaurants to be found in Bradford. If you like Oreo Milkshakes and chips with cold rice and less than average quality main dishes eat here. If you want to sample authentic Indian cuisine and fine dining, the choices in Bradford are limitless.

Visited New Years Eve with family. Nice setting with nearby parking. Food very mediocre. Ordered 3 different chicken dishes, when they eventually arrived they were all basically the same. Cooked in a tomato based sauce and served in different dishes, otherwise impossible to ascertain which was which. All tasted bland and the same. The garlic naan was flat and had no hint if garlic at all. Waiter came once to ask if we wanted more drinks… no one came to enquire whether the food was satisfactory or if we required anything else. Some salt and pepper would have been nice on the table. Far better flavourful curries at other establishments. Waited a long time for the table to be cleared when we had finished, in fact we left it as it was and went to pay the bill at the main reception area. Quick flourish of fingers on a calculator and a rather large bill…. No chance to check it or see if a service charge was added! No wipes offered after eating, no offer of desserts or coffee.. wasn’t even busy. Can’t recommend.

Visiting Harrogate and called for an early evening meal. Was absolutely delighted with the experience. The staff were totally attentive but not intrusive. The food was some of the best I have ever tasted. Will certainly be back

Lovely food! Cannot complain about slow service as the food was served so fast we had eaten, had a drink and was out in an hour. Didn't matter to us but I would imagine if out for the night it could be a problem. Hence the 4 stars. Friendly staff.

Attended at the Jinnah last night (3rd December) for a family celebration for a party of 11. Service was good, drinks order mixed up on a number of occasions but it was busy. I was most disappointed with the food, cooking Indian food on a very regular basis my most recent favourite curry is an Achari. Having made this from internet recipes I decided to try the real thing. The chicken was chicken tikka pieces, the sauce inedible so I had one piece of chicken and left the rest. About £15.00 for a curry that was so bad that I left it and did not ask to takeaway. Utterly disappointed and will not attend again.

Nice place in Harrogate town centre The staff were attentive and friendly.Unfortunately the food and presentation was average at best. It was as though the food had been thrown on the plate. There are so many good restaurants in Harrogate, so I don't think we will go back to the Jinnah.
