This is about JR'S fish shop in Normanton.What a disappointment the sauce's are watered down and you can tell the batter is very thin and disgusting last time I went in the batter was lovely and crispy and the sauce's was more gorgeous. i don't know what's gone on with this fish shop but I will not be going in it again as a customer and it's sad that they dont listen to customers when they try to give feedback. The 2 workers that are always in do everything so perfect and delicious and very well mannered. And in West Yorkshire we love our Yorkshire fish cakes and if they did start selling them for the RIGHT AMOUNT OF MONEY and made properly they would make more money.

Well pleased fish the best I have had for years my wife likes the fish cakes chips and peas vary good . My wife said the staff are vary nice and friendly.

Just called in for a sausage and chips..the chips were cooked to perfection didn’t feel at all greasy..lovely and hot and very very tasty..Excellent covid precautions taken, clean premises and very friendly staff..Keep up the good work all who work here..!

Working away and this place was only down the road. Had small fish and chips with curry one day. It was really good! Only let down was the portion size but I did get small to be fair. The second day I got a deep fried cheeseburger which was interesting ha ha. Not a bad place tho would definitely go back.
