A sweet joint by the water which offers good coffee and oat milk alternatives for non-dairy drinkers. I had an Oat Milk Cappucino by the Waterfront on a sunny yet crisp day in this relaxed vibe and authenticly British small-town Cafe, a great pit-stop with super friendly staff!Support local businesses!

Good taste, the portion is very large, but because I went there in the afternoon, I didn't see boating activities, and it is a pride friendly restaurant

We visited Knaresborough for a day trip and hired a boat. The prices were reasonable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped us to get started with rowing the boat as I had never done it before. We got to row a good distance up the river and see the beautiful views of the viaduct and the town of Knaresborough. It was a great experience and I will definitely do this again.

So friendly and great with your fur babies 🐶 my dog always gets a little treat! Wonderful food/drinks 🤗After a lovely dog walk my husband and I always call in for a sweet treat, very good menu with lots of yummy food to eat/drink. Covid safe, very clean and fab river view! Thank you for always making us welcome 😊👍

Lovely warm welcome as usual. Appreciated getting a pot of hot water to top up our teas as standard and a biscuit for us and our dog :) The soups were much nicer and a bigger bowlful than we were expecting - the mushroom one wasn't as grim a grey as it can sometimes be and had some chunks of mushroom in. The cauliflower, leek and cheddar soup was lovely and tasty and fresh, with plenty of texture rather than being smooth and creamy - it's left me wanting to try and make my own.

We visited for breakfast last week and we feel like the menu could do with a little more variety. I ordered a salad and there was no salad cream to go with it, and I don't like mayo so I was a bit disappointed. The boats were a lot of fun, though I don't understand why it was card only. We prefer to pay by cash wherever we go, so to not have a choice in payment method is not great service. I hope they will take this feedback on board and give people the choice.Despite what I've just stated above, I would still recommend as it was a lovely morning well spent.

Nice views of the river, friendly staff, decent snacks after the walk down the hill in preparation for the steep climb back up, but not before a very nice Yorkshire ice cream

Called in here for a bite to eat have the option of sitting inside or outside was busy when we called so sat inside as we just wanted to sit down. Situated in a great location with good views even inside. Staff helpful food was great menu not the biggest but good simple food that’s filling. Can rent a boat from here also would definitely visit again if we in the area.

Amazing Riverside cafe with great views of Knaresborough. It can get pretty busy so you may have to wait for a table, but it is very much worth it for the outdoor seating experience when the weather is good.Surprisingly, the coffee, tray bake, and sandwiches we had over 2 visits were all very good.Highly recommended!
