Always lovely food In here with lovely staff and doesn't cost an absolute fortune! It's a winner for me!

Called here on way back from Newcastle, had been before and enjoyed it that much we came back especially. We had a lovely lunch followed by a fab raspberry meringue. Was totally worth the detour.

My mother loves this place so it pains me to leave a bad review. However, I have really never had a completely satisfactory experience here and I feel they really need to up their game.I live in the Ripon area so I’ve been here a few times. But I’ll describe my experience today: The service was hasty and rushed despite it being a relatively quite Thursday, this felt unfriendly and unprofessional. They didn’t make small talk or eye contact and when we asked for water, it was served in the manner of a man coming to our table announcing “water” and slamming it on the table in front of us. The cutlery was also sort of tossed before us. I ordered a can of Cawston press which arrived warm and accompanied by a glass of ice that was also warm and half melted (a quarter of the glass contained warm ice water). For my meal I ordered a BLT (picture attached) with a side of fries. I’ve got to say they really butchered that BLT. It was dry, the bread was cheap and it just lacked anything that would have made it enjoyable. For a 5 pound sandwich (fries weren’t included) they just should have done better. This is the same for most of the food, I feel it all could use a little more thought and effort. If you’re in the area Oliver’s pantry is worth the visit as it has a pleasant atmosphere and quirky decor. However, I wouldn’t suggest ordering a main, instead, simply order the brownie ice cream sundae.

Perfect poached eggs on toast, delicious chicken and avocado sandwich, superb goats cheese and watermelon salad and to follow a sublime lemon tart!

When the rain came down and I was looking to find the nearest coffee shop for warmth and shelter, Google Maps came up trumps. It recommended this delightful little, hole-in-the-wall Café.The owner is one of many friendly servers and the meringues are (nearly) overwhelming. If I’m ever back in Ripon I would come here again. Delightful.

Stopped here today for some lunch. The cafe is really nice inside and is well decorated. Dogs are only allowed outside so we sat outside, which was nice. The food is really good. I got the chicken club with sweet potato chips, which were really good. My partner got the Olivers burger which she really enjoyed. The drinks were good I got a flat white which I was impressed with. The desserts looked really good but we didn't have time to get some!Staff were friendly, my only criterism is that is it felt we were forgotten about a little outside!Defo worth a visit!

Lovely independent café, reasonably priced food with that is worth it. Unfortunately the service was slightly poor due to a fault in the kitchen order system which left us waiting 20 minutes for our food, however when it arrived it was delicious. Overall our visit came to just over £15 but it was definitely worth it. I will be visiting again.

What a great place. The food was lovely and staff were all extremely welcoming. My wife's curry is the best she's ever had and the cakes are amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Well cooked and quality breakfast for the price. Plenty of choices for breakfast and lunch as well as a good veriety of drinks as well. The cafe is well set out for the current guidelines as well. The staff are friendly and attentive. The knterior is certainly brightly coloured making it have a bit of a Caribbean Holiday feel.
