Prezzo in Harrogate

Great birthday lunch here, always a nice welcome and efficient service from polite, friendly staff, lovely surroundings and great food, the black pizza has to be one of the best I've had and complimentary birthday bubbles

Been there a couple of times after work, nice clean place, toilets are two flights downstairs.Staff very friendly, and food OK, nothing exciting though.Next door to Pizza Express and very close to Zizzis, all very much the much really.This is the only place I found taking Taste Card on a Friday. If not for the taste card the bill would have been very expensive.

Had to wait 20 minutes to put our food order in, after 3 tables arrived after us and got their order in. The food did come real fast, making me wonder if it's precooked and reheated. One order was wrong. My food was nothing special. Bland really. The table could have been cleaned better. Might explain why it burned down a few years ago. My first and last visit.

Really lovely location, great decor and use of the old building and making the place feel really open.The food and drink was spot on and the lady who served us couldn't do enough for us. This visit had actually changed me mind on Prezzo as a brand overall to a very positive one.

This is one of the nicest Prezzo restaurants we've eaten at. Our waitress was an absolute delight, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was really good.

We were left standing at the entrance with a 91-year-old member of our family for several minutes before being acknowledged by the manager in charge that night (she wasn't the usual female manager that we have met before several times, who is an efficient/proactive person), despite a reservation the new/assistant manager then proceeded to ask us to 'wait a moment' - went to prepare a table, then came back to get us and sat us at a different, already prepared table, of which had been available since we arrived - why did she do this? She could clearly see we had a disabled old man with us and elected to make us stand even longer. Crayon drawings scrawled on the restaurant white paintwork was clearly visible, combined with sauce/olive oil all over one of the menus showed a complete lack of attention to detail/care. Roughly 45 minutes after ordering our food, we were told our drinks order had been lost, wanting to know what the situation was, we asked when our food would be coming before committing to ordering drinks (we had wasted enough time by this point) we were then told by the waitress that the food will be coming ‘when its ready’ - absolutely unbelievable. We were finally told that not only had the drinks order been lost, but the food order had gone missing as well (despite the restaurant not being anywhere near full capacity) – all wrapped up with a completely insincere manager giving us nothing but excuses. We left without eating, and having wasted a large portion of what was meant to be a significant celebratory evening.

Had an excellent meal here with friends on Friday evening using a 40 % code, was a lovely meal for very little money. Staff were great very friendly and attentive. I had pennen chicken, cheese, pasta, it was to die for. Spot on, lovely. Will return when we visit harrogate again.

Been twice now since reopen. Can't fault the food but I've been struggling with the service I get the impression of being unwelcome or ignored. Getting the bill took sometime even though the place almost empty. . So might give this a miss for a while. I dressed smart for the occasions as its a smart comfy place. The Ripon Prezzo was an excellent experience. Hoping better luck in the future.

A nice place for a good pizza or other Italian dishes. Nice selection of wines to accompany your meal. The interior of the restaurant is nice, so you can come here with friends for a casual meal, or dress up and make it a nice date with your loved one.
