We had a lovely first time visit ! The mango and cardamom cake was to die for! The tea was just as lovely and enough of it! The service was calm and everyone was smiley and helpfulThis will not be our only visit! Definitely be coming back ! Also the atmosphere was cheerful and really loved the teacups and the decor

Loved it. There were lots of vegan and vegetarian options plus plenty for the meat eaters amongst us, which are becoming more rare as it is vegan products that are really taking off.The vegan options were delicious and I was told that the meat eaters version was excellent too. They came on a tray not dissimilar to a Tali tray. The staff were excellent at upselling and asked us for drinks first and sweets afterwards. All in all a tremendous experience and the main meals cost less than ten pounds.

This something a little different in Ripon. Genuine Indian food, cooked on the premises to traditional recipes. The owner and her staff are very welcoming and happy to help. The portions are good and the flavours, dishes and ambiance second to none. Oh, and the cakes are wonderful too.

Excellent Indian brunch, perfectly spiced mild vegetable curry with sides. Very good prices and friendly service. Reasonable menu for lunches and gorgeous cakes.

Was lovely to return here after Covid restrictions and caution stopped me. Once again a beautiful lunch Friendly welcome. Great service Saw beautiful cakes. But too full. Can highly recommend this lovely place. Such a beautiful mixture of Indian and traditional English Fantastic selection of teas

Great value and excellent food. The murgh brunch was excellent and the chaat samosa was too. An interesting range of tea too. And lovely staff. What's not to like? And the cakes are all homemade and look as if they will be first class.

Gorgeous food. Nicely presented and delicious. Cakes all home made. Light and fluffy sponges. Staff charming. Lacked nothing. Highly recommend.

We have loved everything we've ever eaten here! I always drink the Indian Chai Masala tea. The cakes are beautiful & often unusual flavours. Last visit I had samosas with sides, absolutely gorgeous, beautiful flaky parcels. Other highlights have been tomato and basil soup with cheese scone, superb. Friendly and helpful staff. Street food night is a must. Don't expect huge plates of chicken tikka masala! This is authentic Indian food presented in lots of small courses with many dishes you will not have tried before.

This was indeed an interesting find, basically a bit like an Indian cafe, with English food offerings too. I had a chorizo, cheddar and onion toastie with crisps and side salad (about £5 I think) and hubby had the aloo tikki burger (£8). We both really enjoyed the food although the burger looked a bit clinical on the metal serving dish, it tasted good. See photos of mains - sorry, had already started nibbling! We also shared a slice of Victoria Sponge cake which was clearly homemade and it was delicious. They had a range of homemade cakes to die for.I had English Breakfast tea which came with a strainer and an offer of a free hot water refill and hubby had an Americano - both good quality. What I like is the Indian/English mix, you could have a traditional English cream tea or an Indian one with pakoras. When it came to service, this is where they excelled. If I owned a restaurant, I would want the petite Indian woman managing my serving team! I dropped my clean cutlery on the floor, before I bent to retrieve it she instructed a young waiter to give me a new set. As I took the last drop from my teapot, she offered a hot water top up. When we ordered the food with the waiter, we ordered the cake to share too and within seconds of finishing the mains, the plates were cleared and our cake arrived. Amazing service - the place was busy, they weren't hovering over us and she was very on the ball!I would give the place 4.5, loses a bit on decor which doesn't quite work for me. They have a clever and different dining experience and need to reflect that with the decor.Would consider trying one of their themed evening events!
