Restaurant at Ascot House in Harrogate

Lovely hotel, lovely staff. nothing was ever too much and they provided a home from home, we booked for next year already.Our only negative was that there was only one key for each room, which meant we had to coordinate our plans slightly, which was an inconvenience, otherwise it would have been 5 stars

Nice room on ground floor at back overlooking park only 5 steps down to get to, breakfast excellent no evening meal provided, walk into town if your reasonably fit 10 minutes other than that 20 minutes slightly down hill .

Marked down 1 star solely for the fact we could not get an evening meal due to covid making staffing in hospitality difficult during this time... But as was pointed out to us there are about 200 eateries with in a mile or so... The breakfast was good the sausages are tasty... They Cater for Gluten Free needs, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Well situated there is a bus stop right out side the premises, there is ample parking in and around the hotel.

A beautiful quiet stay within walking distance of the town. The Food was superb and all the staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely be returning here!

Lovely old building, staff super friendly and very accommodating. Wife checked the room as she does and it was spotless. Perfectly situated about 3 minutes walk to town. Couldn't ask for more at such a great price. Word of warning, careful exiting carpark if your car is low like mine

Comfortable en suite room. Very good breakfast with wide choice of options. Also has car parking and easy walking to town centre and Conference Centre.

A quiet Hotel close to the Harrogate town centre. Staff were welcoming and very attentive. Bijou single room and a great breakfast. Car parking was available on site too. I would use again.

This hotel is a small family run hotel. Our room was a standard and it was spacious.we even had dressing gowns. Don't know if this is standard for all rooms but it was a nice touch. There is a small bar at this hotel. The staff are very nice and friendly.Breakfast was good. It is only a 10 minute walk down to the center of the town. We were only here for 2 nights but would recommend a stay here.

If you visit Harrogate this is the perfect hotel to stay at. Friendly, efficient, a beautiful contemporary twin bedded room with a walk in shower as well as a bath. Absolutely delicious breakfast with everything freshly cooked as well as the perfect fruit salad! Also a fascinating house decorated beautifully with some amazing features ... check out the ceiling and coving in the dining room as well as the stained glass windows! You just can't fault Ascot House. An easy 10 minutes walk to the Turkish baths (a must do in Harrogate) and close to excellent restaurants and Betty's ... can also walk to Harlow Carr. We left our car in the hotel car park during our 3 day stay. Thanks to all who make Ascot House such a haven 😊

We had 2 nights here while visiting Harrogate. Location is ideal with an easy 10min stroll into centre. Room was clean and comfortable, as was the Hotel. We loved our full English breakfasts and there were other options which looked just as tasty. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We have already booked another stay here for our next visit. By the way, Harrogate is well worth a visit!!
