What a gem of a find this turned out to be on an afternoon out with my elderly parents. The front of house girls were so kind, welcoming and accommodating in seating us. The pork loin Sunday lunch was on another level and the pork crackling was how I remember it. Will definitely return.

Called into 6 Poor Folk today for lunch for first time, staff very polite got a cup of tea extremely strong in pot with no extra hot water thought unusual and a bit tight from there point of view ordered fish and chips for myself and burger and chips for partner both with salad!!!!!! Couple of salad leaves with big chunk of onion, not what id class as salad. The food was awful dried rock hard fries and the smallest fish in the world ever AVOID would give no stars if i could felt it was overpriced and underwhelmed.

Beautiful place, great way they've designed and presented it as a Pub/restaurant. Food was wonderful, quick service, price reasonable, enjoyed My afternoon. Thank You.

Really nice place for a drink and a bite to eat. Great selection of real ales and craft beers. Sunday lunch looked really nice but unfortunately we were already booked to go elsewhere. Definitely recommended for drinks and light bites and I'm sure meals would be equally as good.

Very nice little café/pub, great pint of Yorkshire Heart Blackheart Stout here, very glad I popped in for a quick one.

Music far too loud, lots of weekend staff milling around, roast lunch mostly cold, roast pots like rocks, gravy like water, all overpriced. Large step indoors I saw two people trip up (needs better signage), I had to steady one old boy after a spill. Baby changing facilities only in the ladies main toilet. Second time we’ve visited, doubt we’ll return.

Beer was very good, although for an Ale House not a massive range.Loved the different levels and rustic rooms. The quirky pictures were a great touch.

I enjoyed my meal (Beef sunday roast, followed by lemon meringue), other members of my party did not enjoy their own main meals to the same extent, they were ok but not as good as they expected from the reviews they'd read before booking. Dessert's were delicious all roundDespite the slight disappointment, the Manager was very professional and apologetic - hopefully it was just an off day. Staff very attentive, a nice selection of meals and a nice friendly atmosphere. Also dog friendly if you have a pooch you don't want to leave at home 🐕

Nice little place. Had tapas and a couple of beers. Staff friendly and happy to help.
