Sophies Coffee Shop in Harrogate

Lovely place to stay. Ask for the room in the attic. It’s large bright and spacious. The evenings are so peaceful with the sounds of the sheep in the fields. The room faces west so you may get lucky with a beautiful sunset.Breakfast is awesome and Sophie is a great host. I’ll be back!!

Very popular well loved local cafe. Not much choice for vegans, person with me loved what they ordered. Really good coffee.

very nice the only reason I havant given 5 stars is because my daughter is vegan and very very little on the menu for her.however she did have a slice of cake and enjoyed that.

This little Gem couldn't have been more helpful in getting a table for my elderly Dad. Despite it being full, the owner got my Dad a chair and then brought a table in. The food was delicious, I just wish I'd had room for a cake! Well worth a visit.

The cooked breakfast was excellent.The rooms are first class.

Absolutely stunning beautiful coffee shop. Easy parking or if you’re cycling by it’s perfect and dog friendly too. Amazing food and the most incredible desserts you’ve had in your life. Cannot big this place up enough. If you’re local you must try it at least once

After a very long walk we were looking forward to lunch there on Wednesday only to find it closed.The web site needs updating to reflect new opening hours.Very disappointing

I would love to write how wonderful it was at Sophies but sadly we didn't get in because dispite what the Web site says, they are NOT open every day only Thurs, Fri and Sat. I drove several miles to meet a friend on Weds only to find that they were shut. A lovely man apologised saying its hard to change the Web page on Google, hence my review to warn you! Hopefully I can give 5 stars when I next visit on a day they are open!!

Stayed here for 3 nights , rooms lovely , food amazing , Sophie made us feel very welcome . You Need to try the walnut scones , absolutely amazing. A lovely little coffee shop with very nice atmosphere.

We stayed a Sophie's a couple of years ago with friends and had such a lovely time. Sophie is a fantastic host and all the staff were very welcoming. We enjoyed freshly cooked pizza in the evening and the breakfast was delicious. There are lots of lovely places to visit in the area. I can't recommend it enough.
