Storm Restaurant in Harrogate

Very nice. Very polite and helpful waiter.

Light and airy restaurant, plenty of room, food mostly good (avoid Yorkshire Pudding). Could do with more staff as waiting to be seated was slow and one evening it took almost an hour from arrival to first course being served. Rooms clean and airy with excellent bathrooms. Plenty of parking and great location twixt Town and River.

We had English breakfast each morning. Toast and coffee were topped up as required. Service was good

Stopped in after a brief walk for a cocktail. I have to say this place is something special. Sarah the receptionist was very friendly and took time to chat with me while she made my drink. I admit I only came for one but the suggestions on what was on tap made me go ahead and try one of their beers. The black sheep was just a pleasure. In addition to their selections Sarah and Rebecca gave me suggestions on where to go and what to see. This is going to be the one place I stay when I come back next time and it should be yours too

Never stayed at The Dower house before and would stay again. Receptionist very helpful when checked in,informed me of breakfast/restaurant/bar times etc. Room was comfortable and clean, bed too soft for my personal preference, room too warm even wih window open (felt like underfloor heating was on in bathroom) . Excellent breakfast choice. Well worth a visit

Spa day was basic and found the areas quite small without enough lounge space in the pool area. I also was not impressed that children were allowed in .. however the restaurant in the hotel was amazing and some of the best food I have ever eaten

Stayed here for the weekend as was attending a wedding. Have to say, the staff were fantastic and the breakfast great too. Close to many amenities and great views. Lovely bar area and great spa and pool facilities. I thought the room we had was a little pokey but there are bigger rooms with king-size beds. If you're wanting a spacious area it might be better to book direct and request one. Car parking at the rear, plenty of spaces. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again. Thanks to all the staff who were very helpful and professional.

A fabulous location for a great hotel and spa. Lovely grounds,too rated choice at breakfast,all quality produce. Very pleasant room,the spa facilities are super. Very warm welcome at the reception, faultless all round really. Didn't need to drive at all,lots to see and do on foot. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel and spa. Fantastic service from staff and wonderful spa treatments. Evening meal and breakfast were both 1st class and I can't fault at all. The room was lovely. Full of character. Well equipped and clean and tidy. Our room was part of the old building and was full of character and quirkiness. Perfect stay in the perfect location for town and the riverside

Loved staying in the cottage with the big walk in shower. The second time I stayed in the main hotel which was not quite as good. The room could have used a little bit of an update. Other than that. The food was delicious, the gym and spa are a nice extra to an already above par hotel. Not sure why you have to pay to park though if you are a guest? But would stay again
