The Anchor Inn in Harrogate

Had a carvery, quite a bit more expensive then what we usually pay elewhere. But it was nice and the Beef melted in your mouth.

A slightly weird “cash only up to a tenner” policy, but nice surroundings for a drink. Also a great carvery.

Quality home cooked Sunday lunch, massive plate full for £13.95, well worth it. Shown straight to your table, plenty of room, plenty of parking. Table was cleared quickly. Go back time and time again.

A group of 33 of us had a very tasty carvery today at The Anchor. The staff were very accommodating and we will definitely return. If you want good service and a good meal The Anchor is the place to go.

Had a lovely carvery meet was excellent as was the vegetables mash potatoes was more like packet smash, desert was excellent.Would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.

The roast was soooo good that worth driving 40 minutes from our house to the restaurant. A lovely range of food choices and the desserts were to die for, particularly the chocolate fudge cake and banoffee. Will definitely be back in the near future!
