Absolutely beautiful place, even better scenery. Lovely to sit and enjoy a nice cold pint overlooking the rolling green Yorkshire dales. love it

Great pub with indoor and outdoor seating areas. Live bands on a weekend and great food.

While away with friends for the weekend found this lovely pub which would seat all 18 of us together ( not an easy task). Have to say food and service was great and they could not of been more welcoming. Would definitely recommend family friendly and dog friendly.

Nice pub just on the edge of Pateley Bridge. Called in for Sunday lunch and it was very good indeed. Roast beef & well obviously, Yorkshire Pudding! 😉 Very popular and it was busy but staff were excellent and attentive. Would highly recommend!👍👏

Ate here twice whilst camping nearby. Food was superb and home cooked. Would definitely come back if we are back in the area. Good vegetarian options and dog friendly too.

We were made to feel very welcome, the food was really tasty and hot. I had a cracking pint of Boltmaker. We will return next time we are this way.

Had a delicious family meal for dinner here. Unpretentious, well cooked, great sized portions. The beef burger was juicy and full of flavour, with fresh salad and a large fresh soft bab roll. Kids demolished their huge fish and chip portions for ‘big kids’ and my husband’s beef and ale pie was spot on. Double fried chips a delight. Service was warm, friendly, fast and helpful. Very good meal. Highly recommended

Visited this pub tonight with my partner. The staff were all very friendly and polite. we arrived pretty late, but as the chef was just passing us she told the waitress that she would happily fit us in as it was just the two of us. After browsing the menu we both decided on the pie. I am so happy that I'd chosen this dish as it was absolutely amazing!! The pie was cooked to perfection and full to the brim with steak that just melts in your mouth. The double dipped chips were also delicious. I can't wait to come back again.
