Reasonable price and average food. We don’t drink wine so we only ordered soft drinks and a bottle of sparkling water, but the waitress was not happy.

The food here is delicious!! Had a wonderful Sunday roast lunch. Had Rice pudding afterwards and it was the best I've ever had! Quick service with beautiful surroundings. Couldn't fault it. Will certainly return.

My wife and I enjoyed a meal at the fat badger on 05.02.22, I had fish and chips, the battered haddock was piping hot and absolutely delicious. My wife had chicken goujons with fries and salad which were really nice and tasty. The waitress really looked after us and the service was excellent.

We both had a meal here the meals was at a very high standards.i had fish and chips and my sister had steak.then we had desserts coconut rice pudding was the best pudding we tasted for along while.good choice of real ales. Prices on par .

Starters were good, but no better than a fairly good pub. Steaks were good quality meat but not treated as well as they deserve. Decent selection of wine which is reasonably priced and ok selection of local bitters/ales but only continental lagers. Such a shame.Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and fantastic high ceilings.Overall, ok but could do better with more attention to detail, better notice on service after initial seating and more pride in the quality meat that's been sourced.

Love the igloo, great for a family meal. Warm and cosy. Staff and service excellent with good quality food and great value. Will definitely be a new haunt for us.

Excellent food, let down a little by the service (professional but not warm and twice ordered something that didn't come) and general ambience (sat us by an open window/radiator and the spot turned out to be too cold/draughty with the window open (couple on next table confirmed they were cold too) and a little too warm when closed). Almost 4 stars based on food quality but not quite. The chateaubriand was superb. Worth trying again for Sunday roast, which did look good.

Really enjoyed our night at the Fat Badger. Beautiful dining rooms with great ambiance. Menu is on the simple side: we had steak, fish cake, sticky toffee pudding. All delicious. Great night would go again.

Great place to have lunch. Nice atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Lovely food and plenty of choice on the menu.
