Really wish I had read the reviews unfortunately the guy was frying today so soggy fish raw white inedible chips .So got home rang up and the guy who was frying answered and said ok thanks no refund obviously didn’t want anyone to hear and hung up..Sack this guy he has no idea and looking at the reviews I would ask the lady fryer to train people better.Such a shame.

We've just had some of the best fish and chips that we've had in a very long time from this establishment. Staff were extremely friendly, some excellent covid 19 restrictions were in place and everything we purchased was of high quality, hot and presented with pride. Nothing was a problem to the staff. Can highly recommend this establishment to others if you are looking for high quality fish, chips and the usual goods from such a shop.😃👍

Unfortunately they're hit and miss, if the lady is frying the are usually really nice. She is so friendly and always says hello. If the gentleman is frying I'd try and avoid, he never seems to want to be there and the batter is soggy on the inside and the last few times we've had them we have found 2 fish together which makes it grey and not as nice. Not as white and flaky as one chunky fish should be. There are always an abundance of chips which I like and cooked nicely. The main issue issue I have is with the fish which is the most important part.

Exquisite fish & chips! Ordered 2 specials half an hour ahead (as we invariably find they've run out of this big portion of we just turn up!) and they were ready on time and just so tasty.Thank you very much. Can't wait for the next time!
