Enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch. The pork, beef and turkey were all wonderfully cooked. Child’s portions were a good size for our hungry 9 year old.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Kestrel Inn for 2 nights. The Inn itself is stunning, warm and cosy with the most amazing high ceilings in the bedrooms with wooden beams. I would highly recommend the Inn to anyone. The only complaint was it was a bit noisy when trying to sleep but that quietened down around midnight. The staff were extremely helpful with booking tables, providing irons and even sourcing a lower tog duvet. The food was high quality and delicious.

My family of five booked a meal at The Kestrel following a friends recommendation on a cold and frosty Tuesday evening to celebrate a birthday.Walking through the door the real log fire in the restaurant was a welcome sight and the atmosphere was cosy and the tables were well spread out.The food and service was first class and Emma R our waitress for the evening was so helpful and lovely. In these difficult times full marks to The Kestrel and all it’s staff for making our evening so special. We have no hesitation in returning.

Lovely country pub, nice and warm inside on a cold day, fantastic food, brilliant service. Ordered the trio of roasts for Sunday lunch and it was very nice, extra Yorkshire pudding for just 50p too, warm brownie and ice cream for desert. First time eating here and definitely won't be the last.

An absolutely gorgeous evening very friendly staff, the interior of The Kestrel is very well laid out, plenty of space between tables, everything down to the layout of the cutlery was perfect. We were served by Wendy who was very professional, an asset to The Kestrel - the food was phenomenal (we had Lasagne & Bourguignon, then double chocolate brownie & sticky toffee pudding, not one criticism at all - Thankyou to Wendy & the chef!

Very homely country pub, larger than I expected. Food was delightful, I had posh fish finger sandwiches. Watch out for the low beams if you're tall!

Stopped here for Sunday lunch today and it was absolutely brilliant! I would go as far to say this is one of the best Sunday roasts I've ever had.The building itself is beautiful and is well decorated. We got the trio roasts which consisted of turkey, beef and pork which were all cooked to perfection and tasted great. I got an additional Yorkshire pudding and some cauliflower cheese which were out of this world. The staff here were brilliant too, and made you feel welcome upon arrival. The pub is also dog friendly too, and the area where you sit with dogs is nice!We left very happy customers and will certainly be returning when we are in the area too.
