Booked a table for two New Years Eve and asked to stay overnight in our motorhome on their car park.One of the top 3 pub stops we've been to this year.Great beer and food and a really nice pub both inside and out.The owners and staff clearly take a pride in what they do and they do it really well.

Superb Sunday Lunch today, food was so tasty, well presented all home cooked and piping hot, absolutely delicious. Good service and a lovely relaxed atmosphere, perfect.

We ordered a pannini with chips £8.00 was over priced there wasn't many chips the food was nice but over priced I will stick to wethers in future as there was no difference in quality and you get a drink you have to pay for chips but a pannini is a pannini at the end of the day im just glad we only ordered one

Disappointing. On a whole the food was bland and overpriced. We had to return the fish as it tasted weird, like it had been frozen and refrozen. Unfortunately the sausages we ordered as a replacement were tasteless. Anything that was battered (fish, onion rings, chicken nuggets) were very oily/greasey and all tasted the same, bland. We now have tummy aches from the grease. We ordered a side of chips with our mains and they came 10 minutes before our food because "they were ready the fastest".We were looking forward to having pizza (Wednesday special on website and menu) and pizza wasn't available.Service was poor and we felt like an inconvenience.

Brilliant pub. Great location just 2 miles outside Harrogate Town centre. They let us park our motorhome in the car park overnight. Wednesday is home cooked pizza night. Proper thin crisp Italian pizza. Cant fault this tucked away inn at all. And goats and chickens in the beer garden for kids to see. And adults!

Best pub in Yorkshire. Has something for everyone. The food is superb at reasonable prices. The pipes are clean so the beer is great. A proper community pub that welcomes strangers. Also has live music of a very high quality. It is also dog friendly. The Sunday carvery is fabulous. They also have happy hours.
