What a wonderful find! We had afternoon tea which was simply delicious and the girls and service was very good

Lovely tea rooms above the Oldest Chemist shop in the iconic Knaresborough town square. We used the Lavender Rooms over many years and have always found it an enjoyable experience, the food is always freshly cooked and the cakes homemade, the menu isn't extensive but with the daily specials there's always something for every taste. The service staff are always welcoming, cheerful and pleasant. Definitely worth seeking out.

Lovely quaint atmosphere with a varied menu. I had a jacket potato with beans which was lovely. The prices were reasonable and the staff were friendly.

Fantastic hideaway tea rooms. We were welcomed by the staff and ordered a cream tea. The scones are divine. Lots of menu variety and excellent value for money. A lovely friendly experience. I recommend this cafe.

Excellent soup and roll,pot of tea for two plus Coconut cake and Flapjack.All for a very reasonable cost in lovely olde worlde surroundings. Good and very pleasant service from the staff.

Wonderful tea rooms with great choice of menu and very reasonable prices.Staff gave us a friendly welcome. The tea rooms which are upstairs were very pleasant and warm. We had the cream tea which was excellent.Downstairs has a well stocked gift and sweat shop. We could have easily purchased all of our sweats for Christmas from the excellent choice on display.Fabulous all round experience.

Very cute and old fashioned tea rooms up some steep stairs above a sweet shop. Food was reasonably priced, good, but not exceptional. I would go again if I visit Knaresborough in the future.

Step in to feel a very classic tea time experience. Not to mention the excellent scones. Their cakes are homemade and has that simple traditional look and taste. A visit that will leave that oldish days impression.

Cracking little tea room, plenty of character and very quiant. Lovely food and a good menu to choose from. Seating outside on nice days and seating indoors overlooking the square. Good quality food at reasonable prices. We paid £14 for afternoon tea for two. Well worth a visit.
