A lovely overnight stay, nice quiet room, very clean and comfy bed with an excellent breakfast. Within walking distance of everything and plenty of parking. We would stay again

The Staff were fantastic, the room was spacious and modern and very clean and the breakfast was excellent. I ate in the restaurant and the food was superb together with the wine choices. I would definitely eat and stay here again.

Only stopped for one night, had a d luxury double room, large well furnished and decorated, comfortable bed, modern ensuite, great shower, plenty of towels.Good breakfast, good choice, my advice is go early to avoid the rush, staff very helpful, located near the town centre, has its own car park which I thought was a bit expensive and take note, your parking place is not guaranteed, other than that niggle my wife and I were very happy with it.

This was a good place for us on our 3 night stay in Harrogate but a few things could have really made our stay little better. First off the location is great and it was easy to walk just about anywhere in the town. The room that we had was a basic one and was clean and simple. It was a little tight and once we had our luggage inside there wasn't too much room for more. They do have nicer suites, so consider booking that if you like more space. Noise was an issue at the hotel. The walls were either thin or had no sound insulation because you could hear every voice, car, alarm, or music both from inside and outside. Perhaps my biggest complaint was that I didn't take a single hot shower here. Everytime I went to use the water it was ice cold. I heard this from others as well. If you want a hot shower get it at night or very early, because the hotel runs out of hot water quite fast. For me that's unacceptable when staying in a place like this.

The room I stayed is a standard double. The size is considered smallish for its star rating. The furniture are looked on the cheap side and the fixture and fittings appears a bit careless. the heating system is quiet dated and if there is an air conditioning, then I have failed to notice its existence. Wardrobes only provided limited space and no further drawer for clothes. It also has no in-room safe.Breakfast is mainly British plus some selections of cereal. It's good but not impressive. The ground floor is a restaurant in the evenings and there are quite a few bar sitting arrangements in the corridor. Weekend evenings can become very lively, or, noisy.Service is okay. Every staff I came across are very efficient. May be too efficient and become really business like. I'm not saying any staff is impolite, but I also didn't really feel being welcomed.BTW, if you drive a car and have a lot of luggage, good luck in carrying them all by yourself through the staircases. The hotel did warn me on this - a couple of days before my arrival, not when I booked.Having said all these, this hotel is quite cheap in Harrogate considering its location, and, above all, Harrogate is such a lovely town to visit, I would say I had a good time there.

Great location at the bottom of Cold Bath Road literally 3 minutes walk from Betty's and the Valley Gardens. The pub attached is a popular pub for locals. I stayed in the hotel and parking was ÂŁ15 on top, which I found annoying given the room cost. Breakfast was a well cooked buffet and overall I would pick this place from the other places I have stayed, The Majestic and the Yorkshire hotels

A lovely hotel. Rooms and corridors in monochrome. Decor and new carpets made it feel clean and upmarket. Food was delicious and breakfast was fresh and piping hot. Car parking available on site but spaces quite tight. A lovely stay. Would recommend to others.

Definitely not 4 starPositives:- Polite, helpful staff, good location, clean and tidyNegatives:- The noise!!! It’s like camping on the M1 I know it’s an old building, but secondary double glazing is a must the traffic seems to be driving through the roomThere is no safe or bar in the room, all 4 star hotels have these facilitiesThe parking is a rip off, pay £30 to park, but they don’t tell you random people can also park there We went out and when we came back we had to pay to park elsewhere because it was full!! And the bays are tiny not 4 star at allThe bedroom furniture is cheap and tacky There’s holes in the nets and the bathroom has a nasty shower curtain 🤢So after being sleep deprived for 2 nights, this morning’s wake up call was our fire alarm shrieking us awake!!! Don’t know why, we don’t smoke I phoned reception, no one answered definitely not 4 starWould I come back again? Only if I was sponsored to stay awake for the weekend

Just stayed one night but enjoyed ourselves, the hotel is well situated for Harrogate shopping, 5 minutes away, easy car parking (ÂŁ12 for 24 hours) a good few nearby places for food but you're going to miss out if you don't eat in, either in the restaurant or the bar, simply awesome food. I didn't get on with the bed, hey ho, the shower needs a bit more power and a couple of cobwebs around but not deal breakers, I was happy with the experience and would probably stay again. Did I mention the food, yum yum.

For the price, the room was great. It was basic but nice and clean and a decent size. Not what we expected for just ÂŁ53. Ideally located for exploring Harrogate. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. The fat badger bar is great too.
