First take away from this restaurant, sheek kebab starter, chicken Madras and pilau rice with Nan bread.excellent taste good portions and a fair price if you enjoy a good curry this is the place for you.

By far the best curry in the area....the Lasun Khursani is easily the best I've had and I've had many! Tried yiu guys a few times with several different meals to be sure but, seriously good food. We won't order from anywhere else now. Highly recommend, especially the Lasun Khursani if you like a bit of spice!

Spice Merchant as name suggests is a very good Indian restaurant which makes a perfect use of spices. I was brought up India and I always strive to find an authentic Indian restaurant in UK and in this restaurant I could find some authentic Indian dishes. Starters w(mixed grill,Momo). Tandoori Chicken which you get in most of the restaurants is pink coloured chicken but here you can taste the real spices and it's not pink. Main courses - Goat curry and Malabar Prawn were really good. I can definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for authentic Indian food. Staff are very polite and take good care of you. I will definitely pay a visit again....Thanks for the awesome food.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Menu choice was excellent with a lot of variety. The food itself tasted absolutely lovely, it was well presented and the portion sizes were just right. Will definitely return.

Absolutely outstanding. Service was polite, honest and friendly. Was made feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, fresh and very well presented. They had to cater for 2 people with completely different tastes and did so perfectly. The recommendations where exactly as described. Which was nice for a food establishment to know their menu for once. Restaurant was clean, the glasses and cutlery polished on every table. This is a hidden jem, 5 Star experience would recommend to everyone!

We had a great meal last night, the staff were brilliant too!The starters were slightly different to your usual Indian menu and the popadom dips were delicious.Everything we ordered was really tasty, just the right portion size and main course was one of the best I’ve tried. It was a chef special but can’t remember the name.My only criticism is the restaurant was really cold. But don’t let that put you off trying this great hidden gem.
