Beautifully presented food. Well cooked. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Excellent beer garden.

Really good food, a nice ambiance, and excellent, friendly service.

Wonderfully relaxed paced venue with pleasant staff and excellent flavors. The berry&fruit crumble w/ice cream was a delightful end to my meal.

Staff were lovely food was lovely except for the loin of pork full of fat and the pastry on one of the pies was so hard shame as everything else was so nice ,they did remove them from our bill but still spoilt our Sunday lunch as we were out for a treat

I came here with 8 other ladies one night. There was a lot of food to choose from. Due to Valentines Day, there was an extra menu, and being that we went on a Thursday it was 'burger night'. So yeah, you might find the choice overwhelming depending when you go, but that was great for our crew! I chose a burger and I was not disappointed. It was a very good price and the size was very very generous. The staff were friendly too! One tiny niggle is it would have been nice to have some light background music whilst eating and chatting :) Any who we all had a lovely night, thank you!

2020: The food here is always wonderful with a great selection of starters, mains and deserts. I have only gone on Sundays so far so I don't know the range of the regular menu. You always get plenty of food and it always comes piping hot and delicious.2021: Headed over for spot of lunch and had a very pleasant experience. Would certainly recommend as the food was superb and the service was excellent. Very reasonably priced, clean and cosy. Will definitely return again

Stayed here whilst visiting a bike show in Harrogate as prices in town were loopy! Great find in terms of generous and clean rooms topped off with a great menu and service in the restaurant! What a fantastic find!!!

A lovely pub, the staff are friendly, and the food is always fresh and tasty. The only gripe I do have, is the last time I visited I had the fish sandwich! It was a little disappointing as there was barely any fish, it was more crispy batter than anything else! But other than that, it’s always been lovely

As someone who stays in a lot of hotels, this one was absolutely outstanding. The customer service was incredible, we were made to feel at home and they all went above and beyond anything we expected. Rooms were lovely, well thought out and the little touches made it even better. The food didn’t disappoint and even after three meals there I wouldn’t hesitate to go again. Lovely little gem of a place.

We really enjoyed coming here. Our fish and chips were huge, flavorful, and served with a delicious homemade tartar sauce and the steak and ale pie was tasty with an amazing gravy.Also very few pubs that I’ve been to serve Old Speckled Hen beer on draught so that’s a win as well!
