Stayed there for a little getaway, 2 nights total. Amazing stay. Staff are super friendly, the rooms was great and food is really good. Main lounge where they serve the food has a large log fire which was perfect after a long walk. Only negative are creaky floors and thin-ish walls but everything else makes up for them

Nice cozy pub, with friendly service. The food was good, but not amazing.

What a location - just stunning! We stayed a couple of nights & took the breakfast both mornings (fantastic)... We enjoyed a 3 course meal on our 2nd night, which was obviously hand-made & tasted amazing. We has a small issue (outside the control of the hotel/staff) which we mentioned in passing to the waitress at breakfast...The manager called us later that morning & had arranged for us to change rooms - such a great service... Well above & beyond what we expected."I'll be back" - Matt

Excellent Sunday lunch. Fine ale great staff, especially Emma . Highly recommended . You can also order from the main menu if you don't want Sunday lunch.

Found the Wellington Inn on Google Maps and after reading the reviews booked a room and a table for dinner. Absolutely fabulous place. A superb country Inn with spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. The food is of the highest quality and that includes the amazing breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. A big thanks to staff member Catherine who helped make our stay so enjoyable. We would highly recommend the Wellington Inn.

We booked a table for 8 for our silver wedding anniversary we would be celebrating in November back in August and were told we would be in the conservatory with views over the Dales. Three days before our anniversary we were phoned and told we had been dumped out of there and put into the bar area because a party of 18 were having the conservatory instead. We were most unhappy with this but accepted it. We got to the pub for our meal and ordered some drinks at the bar which was ok, then the waitress came over and hurried us for our order. We hadn't really had any time to look at the menu. The food came and it was fine except one of us asked for mayonnaise and got sour cream, when we had finished they came over quickly to ask if anyone wanted dessert, some of us did and got what we asked for. All good so far, as soon as we had finished it seemed that we were being rushed off our table. We were moved really quickly into the bar area and then someone heard that our table had only been booked for 2 hours and we had to vacate for someone else. We were not told this on the phone when they rang to bump us out of the conservatory and this ruined our anniversary dinner. The staff were very rude to some of our party and the attitude of them stunk. We will never return here and urge others to think twice about visiting for a special occasion. The only reason we gave 2 stars was for the food. Not impressed at all and you don't have a silver anniversary every day.

What I ordered didn’t taste as great as I thought it would, however the company I was with said their food was yummy and to be fair it looked good. The toffee pudding was also a generous size. I will say however the staff did not come across happy. Not a smile or warm greeting in sight. Maybe it was a tough night??

Called in the Wellington Inn passing through the village and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The food was lovely and despite being busy the service was very prompt. Lovely dining experience and would definitely return.

Traditional, unspoilt Inn. Good food with excellent choice of menu, comfy bed, spacious bedroom. Bar area felt like a step back in time with real old fashioned tiled floors and huge fireplace, felt very comforting and nostalgic. Evening meal was superb and the breakfast just as good. Darley is a pretty village and this pub is a great place to stay.

Had a lovely time staying here all the staff very friendly and helpful. Room very nice with tea and coffee. Good and varied choice of breakfast. Lovely view if you sit in the garden of the hills in the distance. The Wellington can get very busy so need to book but that is a good thing as you know you will have a great time and food.
