Great big rooms and bathroom. They have parking on site, the Fat Badger bar, and another restaurant. Very good location, close to restaurants, cafes, shops and right across a park.

Definitely not 4 starPositives:- Polite, helpful staff, good location, clean and tidyNegatives:- The noise!!! It’s like camping on the M1 I know it’s an old building, but secondary double glazing is a must the traffic seems to be driving through the roomThere is no safe or bar in the room, all 4 star hotels have these facilitiesThe parking is a rip off, pay £30 to park, but they don’t tell you random people can also park there We went out and when we came back we had to pay to park elsewhere because it was full!! And the bays are tiny not 4 star at allThe bedroom furniture is cheap and tacky There’s holes in the nets and the bathroom has a nasty shower curtain 🤢So after being sleep deprived for 2 nights, this morning’s wake up call was our fire alarm shrieking us awake!!! Don’t know why, we don’t smoke I phoned reception, no one answered definitely not 4 starWould I come back again? Only if I was sponsored to stay awake for the weekend

We stayed 2 nights Buildiing is old and draughty. Single glazing. Lots of traffic noise. Furniture in the rooms was tired. Not bad but not to good. Stay somewhere else next time. Also we paid for two days parking. Then they told us that the car park was available to the public so we had to park mikes away. £15 a night for a car park we couldn’t use.

Rooms not great.... Bathroom had long hairs on the floor. No water in the rooms to drink.Bedding ripped.Very let down as it was my partners birthday. Not a good choice 😔

Just stayed one night but enjoyed ourselves, the hotel is well situated for Harrogate shopping, 5 minutes away, easy car parking (£12 for 24 hours) a good few nearby places for food but you're going to miss out if you don't eat in, either in the restaurant or the bar, simply awesome food. I didn't get on with the bed, hey ho, the shower needs a bit more power and a couple of cobwebs around but not deal breakers, I was happy with the experience and would probably stay again. Did I mention the food, yum yum.

A lovely hotel. Rooms and corridors in monochrome. Decor and new carpets made it feel clean and upmarket. Food was delicious and breakfast was fresh and piping hot. Car parking available on site but spaces quite tight. A lovely stay. Would recommend to others.

For the price, the room was great. It was basic but nice and clean and a decent size. Not what we expected for just £53. Ideally located for exploring Harrogate. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. The fat badger bar is great too.

·

Can’t fault the hotel. It was clean, nicely styled and the service was really good. We are in the Fat Boar and it was perfectly pleasant (didn’t take any photos). I’d recommend staying here if you are visiting Harrogate. It is in a great location close to the town centre and also Valley Gardens and the Royal Pump room.

What a lovely stay for one night. There was plenty of parking, we were warmly welcomed, our room was comfortable, warm and very clean and the food was great. It's a great location for walking around the town too.

Fantastic service from staff, very attentive. Beautiful building. Great choice of food. I had crispy chilli pork and the salmon dish for main. Both cooked perfectly. Both recommended. Other half had beef dinner (Sunday menu) which was excellent too. All very reasonably priced. I was a little concerned after reading some other reviews but had no reason to be concerned. I would definitely recommend this place and will return. At least 10 out of 10!
