Yo! Sushi in Harrogate

Just had tea tonight, awful staff, food very poor and food not up the usual standards. Also saw the chef pick his nose and not wash hands, at that point we left.

Yo sushi has gone very much downhill since we last visited about a year ago. There isn't any 'service' so not sure why it automatically adds on a service charge for you as it's all done through an app which makes you pay there and then. We added wasabi onto our order and it never arrived. Won't be back again.

The quality of the food has gone downhill over the last couple of years. Guessing it’s a change with the supplier as the food isn’t half as good as it was years ago! It’s a shame because it used to be my favourite place to eat but the price increase and quality decrease has put me off going in to eat. It’s only worth grabbing on too good to go

Very clean, staff were exceptionally friendly on arrival. Food was mostly good. Definitely go again 💛

The food was amazing as always, absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and the chefs were friendly and talkative despite being busy prepping for a pretty full restaurant. Shame the serving staff let the meal down. Had issues with payments that weren’t able to resolved and had food go cold as a result of a member of staff who kept avoiding us when we had an issue with our order, yet they had time to talk to other guests and clean tables despite no one waiting for a table and there being two other members of staff stood around doing nothing. The waitresses stand out of the way avoiding eye contact with customers so it’s near impossible to get any help if you need anything. The food is 5 stars but the service is 1 star, if that.

Hmm yeah, not great. Haven’t been to a Yo! Sushi for years but this wasn’t as good/average as I remember.The maki were ok but everything else was a bit meh. The katsu wasn’t very nice. The Yo fries were awful. The Korean fried chicken (nuggets) were pretty bland and didn’t taste authentic. Overall a shoddy meal.Also the wifi was a nightmare to get on to, and as they try to make you order online (and given there’s no mobile signal) it was annoying from the outset.

Love the experience and the food is excellent. The chef's are very kind and re did a few dishes for our little one without question. Ordering via the website while in the restaurant isn't cool (but I appreciate the younger demographic are down with this).

Gorgeous atmosphere lovely place for food was fresh and tasty cleanliness was spot on service was amazing, only downfall is the portions are way to small but loved it!

Excellent service and great food. You get the whole "sushi on a conveyor belt" experience. Everything was yummy. This place is pricey so be aware of how much is eaten. Each plate is color coded and each color has its own associated price. Overall, yummy and worth the trip.

Located just a small distance from the everyman cinema, this yo sushi is a brilliant pit stop when shopping.Firstly the door isn't very friendly for accessibility: it's manual and very heavy, and during winter gets a weird vaccum thing happen making it more difficult to open!Once you do make it indoors, there are standard tables and the usual at food bar eating. There is a large circular table on the left hand side, you can reserve this and it seats about 6 comfortably.Staff here are a mixed bunch, overall they seem keen to serve and sort of happy but I feel maybe they might be overworked at times.Food is always perfect here, the chefs deliver amazing food time after time. Compared to other yo sushi venues I have visited the presentation is perfect here.If you do have allergies / intolerances please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff for an allergen menu. It is a printed list of all major allergens and will assist you in choosing yummy food!We are regulars here and will be back ❤️
