The food was very tasty, but the service was appalling, the food took an hour and the staff was the opposite of attentive, messing around instead of serving us. Quite disappointing.

·

Had read mixed reviews when we went, but went with open mind. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Food plentiful and very tasty. Would go again. Toilets clean and made easy by having hand washing facilities in each cubicle

Waited to be seated.. man came from behind the desk like we where introducing on his time.. asked for a table for 2... sorry we don't have the staff so are only taking bookings..The restaurant was about half full..Absolutely not a problem travelled 20 miles.. won't be going here again for sure! Im Absolutely positive we where not the right clientele!

Turned up here at around 2000 looking forward to a nice meal with my partner. We were hoping to try the valentines menu as we are away for a few days as a little break. We entered the restaurant to be greeted by someone who immediately looked down their nose at us due to us wearing jeans and hoodies (nothing offensive or even garish, my partner was in a Brian Cox hoody!)When we asked for a table of 2 and said we had not booked he abruptly told us that they weren’t taking walk ins due to being “short staffed”.When checking in the website there were plenty of spaces available to book and the restaurant was less than half full at the time yet as we clearly didn’t fit the image of Zizzi in Harrogate we were refused.I frequent the Zizzi in Durham with my partner, dressed exactly the same way, on a regular basis and have never been treated in such a way. We clearly did not meet the expectations for clientele in Harrogate!Oh well o have taken my business and money elsewhere and save myself a fortune by comparison.I don’t think we will return to this venue as have never experienced anything like it.

Fabulous pizzas and super service. And that on a night with hardly any staff.Highly recommended !

It was quiet as we went on a Tuesday night in January so lacked some atmosphere but good choice of food, bottle of red wine a decent price, attractive interior design and service good. The pork & wild boar meatballs polpette for starters were delicious and the chicken & fiery roquito pizza for main was tasty just needed a bit more chicken, but overal a decent meal and very reasonably priced with a 50% off food voucher.

Booked Online on 1st December for 7pm. Arrived a few minutes early, girl didn’t have a clue about our reservation. Got a sear, looked at the menu and decided on our choice. The two choices we wanted where not available, manager said they had been very busy. It was only Spagbol and another pasta dish. Had to choose something else. The shared starter was lukewarm. The main dishes were ok, just. After the meal we mentioned our concerns. The manager said he had done more than 2000 takeaways that day. Maybe that explains why some dishes were.not available. It was a constant flow of delivery drivers in and out of the restaurant. Perhaps he should just do takeaways???? Not a good experience, would not recommend.

Lovely restaurant very accommodating. Food was delicious, seeing the pizzas being made and cooked in the open wood fire oven was lovely. I had the goats cheese ravioli and it was amazing - would definitely have it again. My husband had had calzone which was a decent sized portion! Food for children was also good. Deserts were amazing I had honeycomb cheese cake (it comes with meringues on top! Happy family all round 🙂

After eating here a few months ago and having a negative experience, I decided to try it again and with the family off we trot. What a difference the waiter/waitress made to the whole experience.Ordered the same as last time the waitress this time didn't even write the order down just remembered it all!!, she engaged with ourselves and our Two little ones.. delivered everything as ordered, customised our experience to suite our needs and got the maths right at the end unlike the previous visit. Just shows places are worth giving another try.. just make sure you get a decent server.
