13 Bistro & Bar in Kingston upon Hull

Salad had two hairs in it and used the butt of the lettuce. As well as this the staff did not inform us that the lunch menu deal did not apply on bank holidays, so we had to pay full price for a sub standard experience.When we expressed our displeasure at the news we'd have to pay full price the staff member looked uninterested and just walked away.Cannot recommend

Lunch was lovely pasta great and good cocktails, went back a couple of days later for coffee and cake the cake was lovely but the coffee was from a vending machine not a barista style and really let it down, I expected better coffee, but the food was very good.

Love this place. It does get very busy but great food and service . Booking recommended especially at weekends. Friendly staff from door to table!

Had a staff meal (18 meals) and honestly the staff couldn't have been more helpful in ensuring we had plenty to drink prior to our prearranged food order. They made the experience one to remember.I had the hunters chicken - which was without a doubt the best I've ever eaten.Everyone's plates looked delicious - the kitchen did a fantastic job.Will definitely be returning to try the other dishes and perhaps some cocktails.

The food is amazing in here. I would definitely recommend going here, for a meal. The staff are amazing aswell, very polite, table service was excellent.

Went for a birthday meal with a party of 20+. Apart from a bit of confusion with the starters I couldn't fault the place. The food was great & very reasonably priced. The bar itself was nice, and the staff were friendly. Would definitely book here again

Nice restaurant with good food. Food came out quick and lots of nice waitresses serving us. Only stopped for food as still working but they have a big bar with lots of drinks so would be good for a night out too.

To start we ordered a garlic bread to share which only contained garlic butter in the middle, which tasted delicious, however the remaining bread ended up being a little dry.For the main we ordered a meat feast calzone at £12.95, which when it arrived looked amazing. However, after cutting into it is was underwhelming. There was very little filling, other than steam and slightly gooey cheese. The calzone itself tasted fine, if a little bland. It should have contained chicken breast strips, ham and pepperoni, however it did not. I assume they had run out of ham prior to my order, and the other ingredients were in short supply.The fries were delicious though,Overall I would say 6.5 out of 10.
