The food is of an OK standard, I would say we have to speak to staff over the quality or missing items about 20% of the time. The tables are always dirty, but it's to be expected with a high footfall.I'd recommend to anyone who's after a super cheap meal and a drink but not after anything fancy.

Went in for breakfast, because we've been before and it was decent. BIG mistake!! I ordered a large breakfast with black pud & a regular breakfast, with 2 coffees. Was told by the person serving "sorry we've no black pud", oh well, never mind I thought. Then she tells me, there's no tomatoes, oh and no bread so we can't have toast either... I should have walked away at this point, but was a bit hungry, so went on with the order, thinking that as we're not getting the full breakfasts advertised we'd get a price reduction. Nope! Didn't happen, still had to pay full price. I thought we might maybe get an extra sausage or something to make up for the missing items, that didn't happen either! When the food arrived, it was cold, greasy and tasteless. Honestly we'd have been better off going to mackies. Don't think I'll bother again

A good spoons! Decent size, good atmosphere, clean. Staff were pleasant enough except my friend got thrown out for "being too drunk" even though he was sober 🤔.

We haven't tried staying at any of their rooms yet, so this is for the pub. And as a pub, it's alright. It's a Wetherspoons so the food is average - not bad for the price you pay. Quality is the same regardless of which one you visit.As for drinks, there's a large selection as expected. Prices aren't bad either. They usually have deals on certain drinks, most mixers are included in the price of spirits, and everything else are reasonably priced. Just don't ask for cocktails outside of the list as there's a high chance the staff won't know what it is.Service? Well, it's standard, though sometimes spotty. Majority of the time it's good, though a bit short, but sometimes it's as if they simply can't be bothered to be there anymore.

Upstairs terrace is really great to sit in the sun on a nice day/evening. I don't like the downstairs personally as it's always really busy. Food was good - we ordered the three plate deal which was reasonably priced and enough for three of us as a snack.

Hotel is in great location, close to everywhere. Not so nice and welcoming from outside, than you have to pass noisy Wetherspoon pub to get to reception but room was surprise. Large room with big windows, big comfortable bed, sitting area, even the TV was quite large for the hotel room. We enjoyed Coffe facilities. Bathroom was good sized too, with bath and shower with good pressure. Our room was clean, not as we read in previous reviews. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we feel very comfortable. Well worth the money.

Never have fish and chips on the menu. EXTREMELY noisy and crowded. Loud music sometimes and very loud conversations going on.. You can't even eat your meals without the noise. Use only if you have to.. FAR BETTER PLACES IN HULL for meals and if you want a quiet drink.. Would not recommend unless you are really desperate.. A lot of foreigners in I was pickpocketed in Hull.. And personal things you have watch very carefully in the pub..

Usual Wetherspoons great value drinks on offer...where else can you get a pint for less than £2?...Good menu of proper pub grub...steaks,mixed grill,curry ,fish n chips,pizza etc.Large pub with wheel chair Access.Well maintained toilets...and a hotel here too.Located near to railway/bus station and shopping area.

A great pub decent food and good wines. Its busy but the bar always has plenty of staff so it doesn't take long to be served. Food comes out nice and hot and to be fair, is decent for a weatherspoons. Great atmosphere and great prices.

I stayed at the hotel upstairs for 2 days, I want to say that the staff are brilliant, friendly and helpful always willing to do whatever they can to help where possible, could not fault them at all.The food in the restaurant is fantastic and all reasonably priced, however, the rooms are just not that great the cleaning and hygiene is not good, there was mould on the window cill, the pillows are worn out and flat the mattress is like sleeping on a rock, there was pubic hair in the bath, poo stains in the toilet, nasty stains on the shower curtain, a toilet brush that has loads of toilet water and poo on it and has clearly seen better days.Thick dust on the ceiling light, the air con doesn't work the one rain shower arrangement without providing a a flexi hose shower head as well is totally baffling, you couldn't get a happy medium on the temperature of the water, the rubber mat is disgusting and had mould and mildew on it there is no cold water through the tap and the pressure on it is truly shocking.
