Atlantis 1 in Kingston upon Hull

I've been searching for a good fish shop for a while. Always over cooked, soggy, overpriced tiny portions. But this was like fish and chips should be. Skinned my fish for me when i asked if they could, paid £7 something for fish, chips, mushy peas and a bottle of pop, great service too. Thank you

Always had excellent food from Atlantis1, and for a number of years, can thoroughly recommend it.

Here we go i got fish and chips (large) got them home couple mins walk from the shop and the fish definitely didn't look large more medium I would say. The chips were nice but then again chips are chips you can't really get them wrong. The fish on the other hand is supposed to be the main event it was mushy off white no flavour and texture. In all honesty it felt like it was cheap frozen fish fillets not fresh at all their was no big white chunks of flesh just sorry looking limp food stuff. Sorry atlantis it's a big no from me

I've read negative reviews on this fish shop, I cannot understand why. Every time I have visited the quality is consistently good. Most recently they cooked my fish to order, customers were practicing social distancing & everyone was wearing a face covering including the staff. I will be back again, very soon :)

Not bad..ordered large fish but it definitely wasn't large..knocked 2 stars off for customer service,staff very rude apart from the female server but the bald bloke is definitely rude and has an attitude problem..won't be returning due to this

Went last night to get fish,patty & peas plus cone of chips. Was served by the rudest guy ever!! Was a queue so thought I’d go to Sainsburys next door while it went down. Asked what time the shop closed,guy grunted “8pm”. Asked what time it was then,he said nothing & just pointed to the clock.Went back to place order to which he rudely asked why I hadn’t told him what I wanted before because he could’ve cooked it. I said I didn’t realise that was the case. He didn’t say a word,as he walked away,he muttered “stupid bastard” as he walked away!!!! I was livid but so shocked,all I could muster was sarcastically saying “nice customer service”!Over paid for very small fish,very small peas,small patty & they didn’t even put the chips in!!!!Not only is it now very over priced,the staff are unbelievably rude & needless to say,after years of using this place,there’s no way I’ll be going back!! Disgusting service.

batter very greasy. fish getting smaller over a tenner for 2 fish and 2 bread cakes no chips. used to be nice now its over priced rubbish. wont be going back

web page clearly states opening time as 11am. my partner n child walked to the fish n chips shop in the rain only for the sign on the door to state opening time as 11.30am. obviously it would be a good idea to make sure all details and information are the same and correct

Asked for haddock meal and got cod..batter very greasy and not worth the money..how does a fish meal which comes with a side...and a battered burger and curry come to over a tenner? Also the owner having a go at the server infront of customers isnt good..just cos an elderly man only wanted a few chips and she didnt charge..the owner said under no circumstances do you give anything away for free..greedy or what jeez he only wanted about 10 chips!!

One hour late and wrong order delivered. when I rung up they said what I wanted couldn't be delivered. I spoke to them on the phone and they were rude. My family, friends and I have used this take away for many years. we won't in future. Lots of business now lost.
