Friendly staff, but the worst fish n chips I've had in a long long time. The chips were soggy, greasy & ended up in the bin. The fish wasn't much better.

Absolutely top class fish, huge white flakes of fish, plenty of chips.... definitely best in Hull.

Chips tastes awful. On a Thursday Lunch. They really need to sort their oil out or something, I feel I got the last of the drabs of the bad oil. Fish didn't even taste nice either. Months ago it was fine, if you are open all day, be well prepared with your oil etc... makes a difference and there is Smithys over the road which might take over if not careful....

Went on Good Friday. Fast efficient service. We got fish, patty and chips. Everything was absolutely delicious. We both said it was the best fish and chips we have ever had. Could not fault anything!

Called in on a day trip, was not disappointed! Staff were very friendly and generously treated us to some Patties on the house as we weren't local (they're a local staple and delicious!). Food was top notch (Fish Special), don't miss out on this local gem, you won't regret it!

Fish was huge and delicious. Far too many chips for me to eat though. Great food and excellent service.

Used cave Street fisheries when I was a kid way back in the fifties, and it's still great fish and chips. Chips are browned off, not like the anemic offerings in most fish shops.
