A fantastic bar, great music, great atmosphere, a must bar to go to in hull on a Friday and Saturday nights, open till 3 am, the place to go in Hull old Town.

Beer was flat, it is now looking very tired, and dirty, could do with painting and tidying up.

Bit cool in there but nice bar with tables to sit at if wanted. Pleasant staff

Reasonably fast service and reasonably priced drinks. The menu included a number of popular beers as to be expected but also a nice variety of gins and other less common drinks. Outside sitting area at the back of the bar was well decorated with a nice atmosphere and had a few large table umbrellas so rain wasn't a bother even when it got a bit windy. No heaters though and the toilets are not necessarily always clean.

First time here, had Sunday lunch. Brisket and Lamb absolutely stunning. Every vegetable perfectly cooked and delicious. Yorkshire pudding huge! Gravy amazing. Small plates very tasty, calamari great but halloumi the best I've ever eaten. Fresh bread, terrific skin on chips. See photos. Brilliant cassis bramble too!Lovely environment too, very clean and neat, great friendly staff but quite small as a pub, so get here early!Lived in Hull for years but this is one of the best Sunday lunches I've ever had here. Was nice atmosphere was a bit flat but we were the only people there so I'm guessing that was our fault, nice and clean and the beer was nice

Came here on Mothers Day, the quality of food is excellent, both the pies on the sunday roast. The pies was absolutely spot on and the price for the meals was great, especially for what you got! Would definitely come back for food.Customer Service is also way up to standard, the only fault is that the price for a pint is maybe a little to much!
