Expressions Restaurant- inside Holiday Inn Express in Kingston upon Hull

Stayed in disabled room with wheel / walk in wet room bathroom, and additional sofa bed for daughter. She declared it was her best nights sleep ever in the comfy sofa bed!Helpful staff. ST shopping centre car park on level 2 has spaces right outside the hotels car park entrance. Discounted car parking down to £7 for 24 hours. Easy access in wheelchair.Breakfast was fine. Standard fry up, average quality but not bad either for the money, with alternative continental available plus cereals, juices and yogurts.Very handy for Hull City Centre, next to Truck Stop Theatre and ten mins from The Deep.

Staff are friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable.Depending on the floor, the shower pressure can be a bit low but still ok.It's worth noting that there are no sockets next to the bed.Breakfast is included and there's a good variety of hot and cold food and cereals so should suit most people.Parking is currently £7 a day which is a great discount and the hotel is directly accessible from the car park, which has lots of spaces.My only niggle is that housekeeping is a bit hit and miss, they do a great job but you need to let reception know when you need the room servicing.

Good clean room. Hotel was bright and welcoming. We stayed one night as we went to a concert so booked 1 night b&b. Breakfast was lovely with an excellent choice of meals and drinks. All cooked food was fresh and not dried up. Plenty of opportunity to refresh your juices, tea or coffees with a good selection on offer. Lovely pleasant staff too. 👍 from us.

Nice hotel, new, clean rooms. Strangely uncomfortable bed though. Breakfast could be better, but decent for an Express. Great staff, polite and helpful.

Easy check-in, great location and nice room with a view. We were in 605 for Saturday night, there was a whiff of cigarette odour or similar that was mainly masked by air freshener, but which had gone by the time we checked out next day. A fan was provided and was on, along with the AC, when we arrived. There was a stain, which could be a cigarette burn, on the sofa. Room clean with good towels. Good value for 68 quid including breakfast, which we never had. Relatively small, but comfortable, bed.
