Gingers @ The Embassy Hotel in Kingston upon Hull
Where is Gingers @ The Embassy Hotel?
🏠367 Hedon Rd, Hull HU9 1RA
"“The place to meet and eat” A lovely little cafe bar within The Embassy Hotel serving breakfast, brunch and lunch. Whether it’s a breakfast on the way to the office, meeting for a chat over coffee or a working lunch, we offer something for everyone. We grind our own blended coffee, have a selection of loose leaf teas and decafs available. A well stocked cake counter is the perfect accompaniment. There is a fully licensed bar with a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. We pride ourselves in using local produce from local suppliers. Our pork products are from free range piggies and our eggs from free range hens. The quality of our produce is reflected in the quality of our dishes. If you can’t stay, you can take away."

On first sight this looks expensive but it is worth every penny, service is fantastic and the quality of food is 10/10.The whole office where i work loves a fat Friday with a Gingers take away order.

Driven past here many times and finally ventured in. Wish had gone in sooner! Amazing place the breakfast was delicious and the staff were all welcoming and friendly, even though busy they took time to check that everything was OK and nothing was too much trouble. Only place I'll be going for breakfast from now on

I saw the name of this restaurant on a group's posting so we went to check it out as it was claiming to be just just as good or even better than the ones on the fruit market area. Sorry It's really not. This is merely a place where the hotel guests come to have their breakfast and local warehouse workers come to eat and have a couple of pints in the middle of the day. I tried the English Breakfast, the sausage was really bland and the ingredients not that fresh. My advice to the owners would be to increase the quality of their ingredients if they want to compete with the venues in the city center (although looking at their menu prices, they already are). Also the 2 tables that are right on the main door are horrible to sit at, anyone who is entering/exiting the restaurant will bump in to you. I will give a plus to the friendly staff 🙂Edit: after seeing the rude and unprofessional response of the owner , I downgraded it to one star. It's embarassing to talk to your customers this way, brexit or not

I've been for breakfast here so many times for a couple of years now and it never fails. The staff are excellent and friendly. The choices of meals are great and not expensive. Fully recommended it.

We had a very different 'Christmas do' this year with the way things are and asked if Gingers were able to supply 10 yuletide cream teas for out team. Not only did they deliver them, they were beautifully presented, they had an amazing variety of savoury and sweet treats that kept us all fed for two days! thoroughly recommend and will definitely be using Gingers again. Thank you.
