Kingfisher in Kingston upon Hull

So, I ordered on Just Eats but I wanted to leave a review on here so everyone knows about how great your food is.I'll start by saying I've probably eaten 500+ fish and chip meals across the UK. I used to work on PR and marketing for a chippy that came first in the National Fish and Chip Awards, so I like to think I know a thing or two about good fish and chip shops.I know how poorly fish and chips usually travels, usually because of what it's sent in, so wasn't expecting much in terms of quality after ordering from Just Eat. Thankfully, Kingfisher is using some of the most expensive packaging products available in catering for its fish and chips, ensuring it doesn't turn up sweaty or cold.Fish was freshly cooked, the large portion of fries I ordered was HUGE, and the spam and sausage I ordered along with gravy were all excellent.I only used to eat at one fish and chip shop in Hull (Funky Fish – also excellent due to its MSC certified fish and high quality) but I'll be adding Kingfisher to my list.Thanks for showing fish and chips the respect it deserves.

Without doubt the best fish and chip shop in Hull anywhere, they have won this award numerous times, the quality of the food is outstanding it is always fresh and very hot what and extremely tasty the chef is extremely proud of the quality of his food and the girls who serve you are very fast you literally once you've placed your order , with in a minute it is is being dealt with wrapped up and handed to you I've never seen service this fast ever, I have been back numerous times and every time it's consistently high quality, I have tried all of the fish and chip shops in Hull being a delivery driver, I am always in different areas of Hull by fish and chips from many different outlets.Kingfisher Endike Lane, is without doubt the best quality fish and chip shop anywhere in Hull, even basics like chips very tasty, the larger fish is is the best thing that they sell it as outstanding, one of my favourites is the special spam chips and mushy peas, the chef even cuts is on spam fritters twice as thick as anywhere else, these are delicious on the tray with salt and vinegar and ketchup, I am getting hungry just thinking about this review.If you do not believe me how good the quality is then please feel free to try it out, I guarantee once you go there you will never go to any other chip shop again, another thing I've just remembered the drinks really icy cold they even have Ben Shaw's, This place is outstanding!

Found this chippy recommended on TripAdvisor so thought I'd give it a go after visiting the deep. Well what can I say...cracking fish & chips! Much recommended!

Fantastic quality and lovely staff.Great portions, the quality of the fish is amazing, never had a bad or poor quality piece of Haddock from this shop.Always hot and fresh and you always get a thank you and a smile from the people behind the counter.Best Chippy in Hull.

Absolutely fantasticFirst time using this fish shop as they are not situated near me and they don't deliver to my area. That is until now. I have heard many good reviews on line but I can honestly say it was absolutely fantastic/out of this world. First time we have eaten the batter off any fish ever. The fish was glorious .You could tell it was fresh so white and flaky and chips were gorgeous and mushy peas also. Very generous portions and very reasonable price. Absolutely impressed and will be recommending to friends and family. Also very happy that they now deliver to my area.

Shocking service. Told me I'm "terribly rude" when asked because my food didn't turn up is it up to me to sort out the problem?But it's not "their problem" apparently. Constantly interrupted me so never actually heard me speak much....never swore or abused. Deffo in the wrong job. Expensive actually.Just use someone else who actually cares.Shame I can't leave zero stars.⭐ Follow Up ⭐Actually I said "I haven't finished speaking" that's all! I simply got zero help. But it's fine, I certainly learned my lesson little miss bossy. I'll share the experience don't worry. 👍🤣

Living in Kent at the moment but visited my partner a few weeks ago, had my first ever patty butty and it was delicious. Chips were unbelievably good. Would love to know what you cook them in Will 100% be back when i am back up in the New Year!!!

Great food and great service. The potions you receive are a generous size and done well (not swimming in grease like some other chip shops). They do a really nice patty butty aswell. :D Love this shop and will definitely keep coming back ^_^
