Fantastic restaurant brilliant helpful staff food always good

Visited for the first time and it was lovely! It was the Christmas menu but was offered meals from their standard menu also. The food was lovely but was so full after 2 courses, we couldn't manage the dessert. The service was fantastic and can't wait to go again.

What a place! 3 of us eating freshly prepared food. Great wine and Joe is a real host!

10th of June 2021 my partner and I went and ordered omelette breakfast. It took 35 minutes for the breakfast to arrive, we were the only customers. Omelette was very salty and when my tea was cold the owner took it away to add hot water which never arrived back. He also forgot to bring water. Both biscuits that were given with the tea / coffee were out of date by four months, the owner took them away, but never replaced. He then asked for the full payment, no discount or anything extra offered. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

I have been going to this restaurant for years and nowhere else tops it. Best beef stroganoff in the world in my opinion. Just really wonderful friendly service. I have been ordering delivery whilst the restaurant has been closed due to the pandemic and the service and food is still flawless.

Had a relaxing evening here with a friend. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. Portions generous. Would definitely come back!

Friendly staff, excellent menu, worth every penny. I have come back time and time again and have never been disappointed.
