Went in for a takeaway. Serving staff were pleasant. The floor needed cleaning as it was sticky in many places. For some reason the chicken in the meal was tough.Hygiene 3/10Food 4/10Recently went food was only warm after 5 min drive home

I have a lunch time meal when I can. Mixed meat curry and chips is me favourite. I ask for their hot chilli sauce, it is V hot. It's good to enjoy lunch watching a busy Holderness road.

Twice we ordered from lucky star first time the food was that cold we had to reheat it in the overSo we rang up and they said they couldn't find it and offered us a free mealThis time they only charged us £5.80So I gave them £7.00 as a tip to the driverAnd when it arrived it was colder than the first time sad

I've just had my first and last meal from here. The good points. The delivery was fairly quick from order to delivery was under an hour and the wonton soup was very nice. The rest of the meal was pretty poor. I had bbq ribs and some sort of mixed meat and prawn noodle dish. The ribs was cooked ok but the sauce was very salty and too strong for my taste. On the main dish, the meats were OK but the noodles were terrible. They seemed like one big squashy mush. Not very nice I'm afraid. My advice try another take away and avoid this one.

I go here occasionally, as it's the nearest Chinese takeaway to my house. The portion sizes are good, the food quality is good, but its not fancy. You can eat inside, but its not a restaurant more a dated café.

Good value, very nice food, my favourite take away for the last 20 years.I can highly recommend the mixed meat curry and chips, a speciality and my personal favourite.Sometimes I eat in, other times I'll order, deliverythough can be over an hour!!

Amazing food, just the right heat for Curry sauce and only thing that is upsetting is Chinese don't do free prawn crackers anymore 😭

·

Food disgusting chips cold . Chicken balls were as tough as old boot and went straight in the bin . Prawn crackers were not in my order , called the shop and was told I will have to wait until they got another driver . When I asked how long she said " No idea " I waited and waited but the driver never turned up. Apalling customer service !!

It doesn’t make sense how you can call your self a Chinese and actually get away with serving people the food you do. Nearly choked to death on a chip they was so cold and dry, the ribs was literally just bone, the noodles?????? HOW LONG DID YOU MICROWAVE THEM FOR AND HOW LONG AGO DID YOU COOK THEM????? IV NEVER SEEN NOODLE MUSH LIKE THAT BEFORE IN MY LIFE. Chicken balls just covered in oil and the sauce....I’m sure that was just vinegar with red food colouring 😳 . Your chefs need a slap for even serving that to human beings. Absolutely disgusting

Got my order wrong, girl taking orders seemed a bit miffed! However the meal was very nice and I may even order it again, just didn't like to feel we were at fault!
