Good service, excellent food at a reasonable price

This used to be a reliable place for great indian food in east Hull. However the last 2 times have been appalling the lamb tikka rice was nothing more than pilau multi color rice and the spicy poppadom was uneatable due to been raw !! Tandoori mixed grill has shrank massively over the last 10 years despite price going up but quarantine and quantity has gone down . Despite the fact I've recommended this place for years I won't be using them anymore

This is the 3rd delivery we have had from Maharajah and we have to say it has been spot on every time. They have informed us of delivery time and food has always been delivered within allotted time. Drivers have all been polite and helpful. Food has been fantastic, hot and delicious. We have sat in once for a meal and we will be sitting in again. This is our favourite Indian in Hull.I do have one question for the owners though, every time we order, we receive points. What are the points for and how do we redeem them? We have 748 points. Thanks for the great food and service

Ordered on just eat. Delivery would be a 90 minutes(which we was fine with) checked on just eat after 80 minutes to be told the order had been cancelled by the shop(no email or notification had been sent. But when I rung the shop and asked why, they were arrogant and said there not doing the set meals and the money would be sent back by just eat. So we asked to order over the phone for the equivalent of the money to be told there not taking any orders from just eat. So asked why it was still on the app. They said its not but it still was. So they took our £30 order. We obviously didn't get our food and we haven't got our money back. How many people have they done this to. What I am more annoyed at is the arrogance and not bothered at all about what there doing. I've just checked on just eat 30 mins after they said they was taking the shop off just eat and still on there.

Excellent meal, good service and great value. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered Keema peas as take away. Very poorly made. It was all oil. Literally 2 bits of peas found in whole dish. Hard to fine qeema as well. Whoever made that must not be loving his job. I went there after Google reviews. but regretted it. Avoid at any cost.

A great Indian restaurant that offers delicious, authentic Indian foods. I love how the entire menu has detailed descriptions of each meal so you can try new things with confidence that you like the ingredients used. The staff were very hard working and pleasant. A little hard speaking of English but clearly trying. And the price was very fair for the quality and large quantity. Will be visiting many more times in the future.

Well this has to be the best Indian restaurant in the area. You can take in your own wine but not beer however, they do now sell wine. The staff are very nice and friendly. It has been redecorated and looks lovely inside. There are booths down one side making it cosy. The food is fabulous and arrives hot and ranges from mild through to Naga chilli heat. We had the 13.50 meal deal of starter, main, ice cream and a coffee. We upgraded a couple of items and it still came in at under 40 quid for us both including 2 Cobra beers. We had enough left over to do us the following day. They put it onto take out containers for you. It's a must visit if you love a good curry.
