Minerva in Kingston upon Hull

There is nothing like sitting in the sun in frount of this pub.It's a old pub that's been there ages. And it's just as good as ever.Really worth a visit! It's not over priced, the food is nice. The staff are really good.Just go for a pint there.5 stars!

Fabulous proper pub on the coast. No dogs allowed. The bar is in the centre with lots of rooms located around it, including a small triangular 'cubby hole' room that has been artfully and tastefully decorated. Large pub. Handpulled cask beers available were Directors, Ragged Point Stout, Dissolution IPA, Tetley and Oxford Gold. I had the Directors and it was a good pint. Lots of homemade profferings on their menu, including gluten free and vegetarian options. Outdoor seating too. I would definitely revisit.

Pre booked a table which it very advisable as it was busy when we arrived, shown to our table and was told you order at the barWent and ordered food and drinks,fish and chips and a Mexican burgerStaff were friendly, and prices very reasonableHand sanitising stations and gels positioned around the placeFood was excellent it does say table's for 2 hour's but we were there for 3 hour's

Havnt been for a while,Minerva is full of character ,meal was excellent and service was quick and staff were very helpful and courteous, well done minerva.prices were very competitive as well.

What a great place. I definitely would recommend. It’s a little gem in Hull. Easy to book online. The four of us had the Sunday roast, with pudding & coffee to finish. Staff were lovely. Husband was very impressed with the Tetleys & he’s a connoisseur 🤣 Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

We were a table of 8 on a very busy Saturday tea time. The staff were all lovely. The food was hot and very tasty. I had the haddock fishcakes which were beautiful. If I were to give one negative point I would have loved more chips, they were perfect and I wanted more. First time eating there, certainly won't be our last.

Spot on! Lovely pub, almost 200 years old. Great views of the pier and marina. Beer was on point. Food was very good, served pretty quickly considering there were a few diners already. Reasonably priced.

Fist time eating here today and would highly recommend, service and staff lovely, beautiful interior very cosy, food was absolutely delicious we had the steak pie, and happy to accommodate a vegan in our group. Tried the mulled wine and best I've tasted.. Definitely coming back. Thank you to all the staff.
